Anybody buy the Target version that's got 2 bonus tracks? I did and for some reason the bonus tracks are just... missing. The CD artwork and credits have them listed but when I put the 2nd disc into my computer, it only reads 15 tracks. Pretty annoyed because that was my biggest motivation for buying the physical copy since I don't even have a CD player in my newer car that I got last year. And idk what to do about it, like do I go to Target and complain or what? This is a situation I've never had before. :/

Love: Only Thing Thats Gone, Quittin Time, 7 Summers, Silverado For Sale
Like: Need a Boat, Somebody’s Problem, Whiskey’d My Way, Sand in my Boots
Meh: the rest of them
Some good stuff on here, but didn’t need to be 30 tracks long 😂. Will say 7 Summers remains on repeat, as it was in august.

I can't believe I just listened to 30 songs just to find out that the first one is my favorite.

I’m really enjoying this album! My immediate favorites are: “7 Summers”, “Only Thing That’s Gone”, “Sand In My Boots”, “Need a Boat” and “Somebody’s Problem”.

Omg i think this album is insulting terrible. And the writing was on the wall the second it was announced. The hits ("cover me up" "7 Summmers" and "more than my hometown") are literally just slapped on the back end of one of the disks! But i wawas hopeful for one reasons and that's because "Livin the Dream" showed an interesting level of lyrical intent and emotional depth (despite being terribly produced)
But yeah this is garbage how man poorly produced songs about drinking and how fucking country Wallen is can we possibly listen to (apparently 30) and many of the songs can't even reach 3 minutes in length. How lazy!
I don't think all the songs are bad (Still like More than my hometwon, 7 Summers, and Livin the Dream) and among the new tracks "865" stands out as the one new song that i see myself returning to.
I just wish Morgan would spend some time thinking about why in the hell he's doing much drink and dig into the deeper issue there and uhhhh please remove the uncomfortable misogyny from this. It first rears it's ugly head on the second track where he spends his time bitterly complaining about all the things he wasted with this girl without ever considering her perspective or what she may have wasted on his bitter ass. And it shows up several other times but i can't be bothered to go back and find the specific
REALLY DISAPPOINTING (especially considering I've been a defender of Wallen)

Good album with a lot of radio friendly songs. Sand In My Boots and Somebody’s Problem are gems! He stated in an interview I seen that disc 1 was mainly ballad songs with disc 2 being more upbeat songs.

He has 22 songs in the US Top 50 on Spotify today, and doing really well at Apple Music also. After one listen, I still think the pre-released tracks 7 Summers and Somebody's Problem are the ones I enjoy the most, but we'll see after a few more listens.

This album probably didn't need to be *quite* this long, but I am still loving the majority of it and the fact that he was able to do a double-disc record like this, because you know all artists go through this many songs or way more when they're narrowing down an 11-13 song tracklist for a typical album, so it would be nice to see more artists start to follow suit in releasing longer projects like this so you can get some of those tracks that are left on the cutting room floor. Given how things are moving in favor of streaming, albums like this are definitely more advantageous over buying a physical record that may only have 10 tracks on it. Little early to pick out all my favorites, but I know right now that "Sand in My Boots" and "Your Bartender" are both INCREDIBLY strong. Would love to see at least one of those if not both as singles. Seems like other people are having the same issue: twitter.com/search?q=morgan%20wallen%20bonus&src=typed_query&f=liveWell that's a major bummer, but hopefully since this is a widespread issue that there will be some kind of correction for this so we can get the songs cause I'm pretty disappointed I can't hear them when I specifically bought the album at Target for that reason alone. Might be the last time I buy a CD now, because I hadn't done it since July anyway due to it no longer being a necessity for me, but now I feel burned. Morgan Wallen already gave Walmart lip on social media for accidentally leaking his album early, so I'm hoping he sees the disappointed feedback from his fans and finds a way to make this right. <3

.indulgecountry he was on Bobby Bones Show yesterday morning and said the double album thing had been talked about by him and the producer for a while. Seems like he said he had well over 200 songs that he’d wrote in the past 2 and a half years. He said it made more since to do a double album because they felt he had a lot of songs that were worthy of being on an album instead of cutting what he had recorded down to 15 tracks. He stated that also the reason behind it is people are really wanting new music right now since a lot of people can’t get out much due to the pandemic. I am all for this much new music. As I’ve stated before if concerts ever start back up again Morgan is gonna be a star. He’s a headlining act waiting to happen.

As if there was any doubt about Wallen’s impending superstardom; Hits Daily Double is projecting that “Dangerous” will debut #1 with 185k-210k units sold. Sonically, I’m naturally a fan of more stripped down production, but the pop-centric songs still come off as very well done. I think Joey Moi has fine tuned his approach with Wallen and FGL looks pretty silly dumping him as their producer.

They worth getting the Target version? Well the bonus tracks are basically free now so you don't need to even buy it at Target. I entered the code and got them without having to do anything to prove I'd bought the CD from the retailer since the link just asks you to copy-paste the code in the Tweet. So honestly if I were you, I'd just go in there right now and download them for free since buying the album from Target isn't going to get you anything extra now. Thanks for posting the link, gardyfan.

Neon Eyes is underrated. The chorus is the best pop chorus he's ever made.

I was told there are no replacements coming and the only option is to download it. EDIT: I also replied to the above tweet asking how we would know it has the bonus songs.

Updated HDD prediction is 69k pure sales and 230k SPS. Holy hell. That’s a big jump from the 2,662 in the opening week of his first album. This is really good. A little repetitive which is no surprise at 30 songs, but I really like it as a whole.

As mentioned, the album was only available digitally at first, and Morgan was next to unknown by the industry and general public when the first album came out.

Oh for sure but most of this album’s “sales” are digital too so I think it’s a fair comparison. It’s just nuts how fast he’s blown up.

If there are many complaints of missing Target bonus tracks, that means physicals play a big part in first week sales.

If there are many complaints of missing Target bonus tracks, that means physicals play a big part in first week sales. I see that. With SPS of 230k and physical of 69k that means digital accounted for 161,000 “sales” in its opening week compared to 2,662 in his first album’s opening week. That’s a 6,000% increase, which is pretty noteworthy. It’s not like his first album was released independently either. “Up Down” was 6 months old when the album dropped, so people knew who he was. My point was that he EXPLODED in a relatively short amount of time.
