Richard Marx hit the top 10 with "Now and Forever" after he turned 40. Luther Vandross had multiple hits in his 40s.

The first one that came to mind for me was Elton John, he had several top 10's and 20's after he turned 40 in 1987.

Pharrell Williams was over 40 when Happy hit #1. interesting that Adam Levine and Jay Z are the only ones listed that have charted at Pop radio in recent years. John Legend is over 40 and has potential to have another hit.

John Legend is over 40 and has potential to have another hit. As I write this, Justin Timberlakeâs 40th birthday is tomorrow (1/31/21). While his recent releases have underperformed, heâs still well enough known that I wouldnât totally count him out.
