Since Post Malone's debut with 2015's "White Iverson" he has gone on to be one of the biggest acts to debut in the '10s and has set several longevity records time and time again.
His most recent album "Hollywood's Bleeding" (released in september 2019) is currently #18 on the BB200
He has held the record for the longest running top 10 song on the BBH100 twice now
His 2019 hit song "Circles" is predicted to return to the H100 next week
What is it about him that keeps him on the charts for so long?

IMO, he's doing great with rap audience (streaming) and pop audience (radio) + really catchy sound. He's basically a mix of Drake and Ed Sheeran. (streaming = Drake > Post > Ed); (radio Ed > Post > Drake).

Post Malone emphasizes the word "hit" very well, he makes sure that the songs that eventually come out with really successful chart runs, tend to have a catchy sound that easily hooks with the target audience, whether it is pop or rap audience.
Take these songs for example:
"Congratulations" - despite having a #8 peak in the Billboard Hot 100, it's sound was catchy enough for its target audience to easily latch on. And the music video was visually good in the eyes too. "Rockstar" - the chorus loop kinda helped on getting the listener's interesting, which helped in the 8-week #1 it had. While as not as focused on longevity compared to the other songs, but it's streaming game was insane. "Sunflower" and "Circles" - these two share the same thought for me. These two were the songs that Post truly embraced the hit pop sound, which helped huge with "Sunflower"'s 33-week at Top 10 and "Circles" surviving many seasons and having a brief spell at most weeks at Top 10.

IMO, he's doing great with rap audience (streaming) and pop audience (radio) + really catchy sound. He's basically a mix of Drake and Ed Sheeran. (streaming = Drake > Post > Ed); (radio Ed > Post > Drake). You nailed it here. Also, it's insane how he has such a fantastic ear for hooks and catchy melodies - sometimes several within the same song ("Hollywood's Bleeding" and "Stay" come to mind). There are songs of his I have yet to listen, yet I often catch myself singing along to the short snippets I've heard. I guess it also helps that he spaces out his single releases pretty well, and as soon as the current single starts to lose strength, he releases a new song. This strategy helps with his impressive longevity. And of course, the fact he hasn't had a single miss since "White Iverson" (maybe "Psycho", but it's still a catchy earworm in its own right). This video (from 1:00 onwards) showcases this really well. The audio has been muted for copyright reasons, but you can still see the pattern.

He's making pop for people who don't like pop and rap for people who don't like rap. He's got the middle of the road appeal. When he releases something actually good it resonates with the widest possible audience

He has good crossover appeal as said above and his public persona seems chill His team also have done a pretty great job with pushing him as an artist and promoting him and his music too.

General longevity trends. There are so many tracks reaching one year on chart these days (and would be wayyyyy more if songs could chart after one year between 26-50 too). But of course it helps that radio sticks with one song they choose. + all the points said in posts above

I think it should also be said, in relation to the 'pop/rap for people who don't like the genre', Post is the only artist right now that's doing the whole monogenre right or at least the most tolerable. There are other melodic rappers who are popping but there's more crossover appeal for Post than any other artist in his field that I can think off

He's soft enough for the moms to like him, but he's also not lame which makes the sons enjoy him.

Let's give him credit, his singles discography since "rockstar" is nearly flawless. They're all fun, radio-friendly records. I'm not saying all the other reasons explained here aren't valid, but at the core, the music is really good imo.

His single choices for "Hollywood's Bleeding" in particular were perfect, and it's a shame he didn't push more songs from the album. Most album cycles always have that one song that I'm not too fond of, but all singles from this era range from great ("Goodbyes", "Wow.", and "Enemies" - if it counts) to excellent ("Sunflower", "Circles", and "Take What You Want" - if it counts). and yes, I'm ignoring the random music video for "Saint-Tropez"
