Wasn't "Since U Been Gone" blocked by "Candy Shop"? At least people remember CS I think, which is not something I expect the BTS track to achieve.

The first song that came to my mind when I think about good 4 u's run is actually Poker Face (although obviously they are different sonically). It sneaked in a week at #1 just before the BEP domination and spent 8 weeks at #2 after that.

I want to listen to all the songs some more but I always get stuck on "jealousy, jealousy", that whole song is magical, I love its structure and the melodies and lyrics are great, that chorus is addicting and the bridge has attitude, it should definitely be a single at some point, sorry for my outrage but isn't it obvious this is a future pop classic a la "Into You" or "Run Away With Me" I still stand by this, I'm still very much obsessed with "jealousy, jealousy" after weeks, a feat songs rarely achieve for me and I think I can say this is my favorite song of the year (so far) I can't wait for it to become a single and read all the discussion because oh man this needs to happen |

I have to say, Olivia has really been battling with some huge names in her first era alone. I mean, "drivers license" blocked Ariana and Cardi (initially) from #1, "good 4 u" has been holding its own against BTS and her album almost blocked Taylor from returning to the throne.

She’s doing this with a pretty mellow, downtempo album (with exception to the singles). If Sweet is really a thing, and is filled with uptempo radio hits, she can cement herself as the Pop Princess of the 2020s. |

With these POTUS and Fauci appearances, I’m really amazed at how well-spoken, charismatic yet approachable and relatable she comes across. How can you NOT fall in love with her personality? Definitely the first Gen-Z musical superstar.
