By the way, I was trying to figure out the streaming leaders each week. What I ended up with was:
Dakiti - Bad Bunny feat. Jhay Cortez 1 week (1/07) [originally Dynamite] 1. Drivers Lisence - Olivia Rodrigo 7 weeks (1/14-2/25) 2. What's Next - Drake 1 week (3/04) 3. On The Ground - Rosé 1 week (3/11) 4. Peaches - Justin Bieber feat. Daniel Caesar & Giveon 1 week (3/18) 5. Montero (Call Me By Your Name) - Lil Nas X 7 weeks (3/25-5/06) [first week Peaches, fifth week Save Your Tears] 6. Good 4 U - Olivia Rodrigo 1 week (5/13) 7. Butter - BTS 3 weeks (5/20-6/03) [third week Good 4 U] Good 4 U - Olivia Rodrigo 2nd week (6/10) Butter - BTS 4th week (6/17) [originally Good 4 U] Good 4 U - Olivia Rodrigo 3rd week (6/24)
Does this seem right? I wasn't sure about some of the BTS vs Olivia weeks.

Holy shit Kiss Cam actually made it, I saw it become the first Polish song to ever make the daily Spotify top 200, I had no idea it would make the Billboard charts too.

Billboard's two worldwide tallies rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories.
Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" rules the Billboard Global 200 for a sixth week, while Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" notches a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
Plus, Måneskin continues to scale the top three of both surveys with "Beggin'," after the Italian quartet won the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
Billboard's two global charts (the latest of which are dated July 17) began last September and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data. The Billboard Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the U.S.
Chart rankings are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts' calculations.
'Good' Scores Sixth Week Atop Global 200
Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" adds a sixth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, as the leader by the southern California native drew 80.3 million streams and sold 13,5000 (down 6% in each metric) worldwide in the July 2-8 tracking week.
Rodrigo now boasts the two longest commands outright in the Global 200 chart's history so far, as her "Drivers License" ruled for eight weeks beginning in January. Lil Nas X's "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" ranks third, having led for five weeks starting in April.
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" holds at No. 2 in its second week on the Global 200, while Måneskin ascends to a career-best No. 3 high on the chart with "Beggin'," which surges 5-3, up 17% to 77.8 million streams and 25% to 12,200 sold worldwide.
BTS' "Butter" dips 3-4 on the Global 200, after two weeks at No. 1, and The Weeknd and Ariana Grande's "Save Your Tears" rebounds 6-5, following its one-week reign.
'Bad' Tops Global Excl. U.S. for Second Frame
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" spends a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, a week after it launched at the summit, with 51.7 million streams (up 6%) and 30,700 sold (down 26%) in territories outside the U.S. in the July 2-8 tracking week.
As on the Global 200, Måneskin reaches a new career high on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, as "Beggin' " rises 4-2, up 15% to 67.4 million streams and 15% to 8,400 sold worldwide. BTS' "Butter" drops 2-3 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, following five weeks at No. 1; Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" slips 3-4, after five weeks at its No. 2 high; and The Weeknd and Ariana Grande's "Save Your Tears" lifts 6-5, also after hitting No. 2. The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated July 17) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (July 13). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard's subscription-based service. For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.

I love fallout from album bombs, especially the double album bomb of last week! Lots of new peaks for songs that were already on the up and up; let's get to them with Khan's weekly update on the global charts. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jSdctFcLyQl6HJYoi9Jr2OHFGkn-TBnxWVFNxMlzrto/edit?usp=sharing- Italy is seriously winning all over the world these days. Måneskin is up to #3 on the main chart and #2 on the Excl. US chart! New peaks, obviously. And not to mention, Italian artists Sangiovanni, Meduza, Sfera Ebbasta, Fedez, and more all appear on the charts this week. God is kissing them this year, for serious. - Argentina which is basically Italian is also doing great now, with María Becerra and Bizarrap both charting in the higher echelons of the chart this week. Becerra gets a small new peak, from #18 to #17, for the nation on the main chart, too. - Solomon Islands band Small Jam is still getting new peaks from their viral song, which moves to #67 on the main chart this week. I've also renamed it on the chart to include the (My Bestie) subtitle, since that's how it's credited on various services. - And we end with possibly the biggest news: new country! Through the face and voice of Minelli, Romania has shown up on the Excl. US chart at #174. Funny enough, the name of Minelli's song is "Rampampam" which is very close to "Ram Pam Pam" which is the highest peaking song for the Dominican Republic on both charts. - And finally, stuff specific to July 17th. For the first time ever, (it took this long because of the triple feature of Tones and I, The Kid Laroi, and Masked Wolf) no Australians appear in the top 20 of the Excl. US chart. João Gomes takes the Brazilian leader's crown this week, which is the first time it's changed hands in a couple of months now. Yoasobi is absolutely banging Japan with their presence because their new single debuts high enough to lead Japan this week and brings up the rest of their songs on both charts. Finally, due to a feature from U2 members Bono and The Edge on a Martin Garrix soccer anthem, Ireland is now led by them instead of Niall Horan on the Excl. US chart.

Billboard's two worldwide tallies rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories.
BTS boasts the biggest song in the world, as the South Korean septet launches at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.
Plus, The Kid LAROI, from Australia, and Canadian Justin Bieber enters the lists at Nos. 2 and 6, respectively, with "Stay."
Billboard's two global charts (the latest of which are dated July 24) began last September and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data.
BTS' 5th Global 200 No. 1
BTS' "Permission to Dance" starts at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 with 170.8 million streams and 138,600 sold worldwide, the week's top sums in each metric, in the July 9-15 tracking week, following its July 9 release.
BTS adds its record-extending fifth Global 200 No. 1, following "Dynamite" (four weeks on top in September 2020-January); "Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)," with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo (one week, October); "Life Goes On" (one week, December); and "Butter" (two weeks, June 5). Olivia Rodrigo is the only other act with multiple Global 200 No. 1s (two).
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber bound onto the Global 200 at No. 2 with "Stay." The song, released July 9, opens with 76.3 million streams and 18,600 sold worldwide.
The Kid LAROI earns his second Global 200 top 10, and a new career high, after "Without You," with Miley Cyrus, reached No. 10 in May. Bieber and BTS have notched the most Global 200 top 10s so far, as each act adds its seventh on the latest list.
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" backtracks to No. 3 on the Global 200, after spending its first two weeks on the chart at No. 2; Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" falls to No. 4, after six weeks at No. 1; and Måneskin's "Beggin'" slips to No. 5 from its No. 3 high.
BTS' 'Butter' at No. 1 & 'Permission to Dance' at No. 2 on Japan Hot 100 'Dance' Also No. 1 Outside U.S. As on the Global 200, BTS' "Permission to Dance" soars in at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 154.9 million streams and 94,600 sold in territories outside the U.S. in the July 9-15 tracking week. BTS tallies its record-padding fourth Global Excl. U.S. No. 1, following "Dynamite" (eight weeks); "Life Goes On" (one week); and "Butter" (five weeks). No other act has more than one No. 1 on the ranking. Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" dips to No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, after spending its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1; BTS' "Butter" holds at No. 3; Måneskin's "Beggin' " drops to No. 4 from its No. 2 best; and Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" descends 4-5, after five weeks at its No. 2 peak. Plus, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" starts at No. 6 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 42.3 million streams and 6,600 sold outside the U.S. The Kid LAROI claims his first top 10 on the survey, while Bieber posts his seventh, the most among all acts. The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated July 24) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (July 20). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard's subscription-based service. For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.

Haha wow, this might genuinely be the least newsworthy week on record for the global charts so far. But hey, that just makes Khan's job easier! docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jSdctFcLyQl6HJYoi9Jr2OHFGkn-TBnxWVFNxMlzrto/edit?usp=sharing- There is one single new peak to record this week, and it's only on the Excl. US chart. Minelli, who reps Romania and debuted last week, moves up about twenty spots, but she's still unable to crack the main chart or the top half of this one. - At the very top of the chart, as I'm sure you know, BTS nabs a new #1 hit for South Korea. The republic is only behind the USA's ten chart toppers with this one being its sixth. (That's the main chart; it's actually 6-to-6 on the Excl. US chart.) - It's worth noting that The Kid Laroi debuts at #2 on the main chart with his Justin Bieber collab, which makes Laroi the highest peaking *solely* Australian artist. Rosé had a #1 hit before, but she's more associated with South Korea/New Zealand sooooo - And that's... it. Heh I guess I'll take this opportunity to go into more detail than usual on the July 24th-specific changes. Bia's new remix with Nicki Minaj puts Trinidad and Tobago back on the main chart for a bit, but it missing the Excl. US chart altogether. In the same vein, Jamaica is back at the very bottom tip of the main chart because of Sia's "Cheap Thrills" with Sean Paul just being popular after years. In the same vein, because of Irishmen Dermot Kennedy and Niall Horan falling down naturally, it's Hozier's old hit "Take Me to Church" that holds the Irish trophy for this week for the first time ever, as it's still popular years later. For Japan, Yoasobi's "Yoru ni Kakeru" comes back to the top spot on the main chart, held up by an English version titled "Into the Night" and just hype from their new single (which is still the top Japanese song on the Excl. US chart). In India, frequent collaborators B Praak and Jaani just edge out Badshah for the Indian crown on both charts.

As previously reported, BTS bounds in atop the July 24-dated Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts with "Permission to Dance." It's the South Korean superstars' fifth and fourth leader on the respective lists, extending their lead for the most since both surveys launched last September. But going deeper on both rankings, other international acts shine, earning their first entries.
Among them, Wizkid debuts on the Global 200 at No. 159 with "Essence," featuring Tems. Both acts hail from Nigeria, following Burna Boy to become the second and third artists from the country to hit the survey.
"Essence," from Wizkid's 2020 album Made in Largos, is primarily sung in English but includes lyrics in Yoruba. The African language is predominantly spoken in Southwestern Nigeria, precisely the location of his native, and album namesake, Largos. It is the first song featuring vocals in Yoruba to grace the Global charts.
This influx of Nigerian talent onto the Global 200 is not just a breakthrough for the country, but continues a burst of chart activity from Africa. Global chart action from the continent has mostly been limited to "Jerusalema" by Master KG featuring Nomcebo Zikode (both from South Africa) and Burna Boy (Nigeria), which has spent 45 weeks on the Global Excl. U.S. chart so far, peaking at No. 18 in October. Wes (Cameroon) was also co-billed with Robin Schulz on "Alane," which spent three weeks on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
Wizkid and Burna Boy have especially become in-demand featured guests, showing up on albums by Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Drake and others, but "Essence" represents a breakthrough with Wizkid being the lead artist, and, instead of asking one of his North American buddies to return the favor, spotlighting a fellow Nigerian act in Tems.
This week, "Essence" climbs 82-72 on the U.S. based Billboard Hot 100, while bouncing 30-24 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs tally.
Wizkid's debut on the Global 200 while missing the Global Excl. U.S. tally might seem counter-intuitive for an international star with a bigger footprint outside America, but his turns with American (and Canadian) superstars have swelled his profile stateside.
It's not the only such occurrence this week. Conversely, Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline (Good Times Never Seemed So Good)," perhaps most famously associated with the Boston Red Sox (as the team's eighth-inning anthem at home games at Fenway Park), after decades as a standard on U.S. radio, debuts on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, though it has yet to make the Global 200. It sports an understandable reason, however: It debuts on the former list at No. 167 after being adopted by English football fans as a singalong during the recent EuroCup, drawing 3.9 million streams (up 59%) and selling 7,300 downloads (up 62%) outside the U.S. in the week ending July 15, according to MRC Data.
Released in 1969, "Sweet Caroline" is the first non-holiday song from the 1960s -- and the oldest non-holiday title -- to grace the Global Excl. U.S. chart so far, chronologically surpassing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" (1975).
Elsewhere, Latin music makes splashes with debuts for "Volando" by Mora, Bad Bunny (both from Puerto Rico) and Sech (Panama) at Nos. 22 and 27 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and Global 200, respectively; Argentina's Tiago PZK and Lit Killah ("Entre Nosotros" at No. 98 on Global Excl. U.S.); and Brazil's Joao Gomes and Vitor Fernandes ("Se For Amor" at No. 157 on Global Excl. U.S.)

Wait did I catch something that Billboard missed? Cuz that would be dope. That article about Nigeria neglects to mention Darkoo, a rapper who is featured on that massive Body remix. She's kind of a small part of the whole thing, but she is Nigerian. So that means, as you can see from my lil weekly spreadsheet, she's not only a missing Nigerian representative from that article but also the highest peaking Nigerian ever.

Billboard's two worldwide tallies rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories.
Ed Sheeran claims the biggest song in the world, as the English singer-songwriter's "Bad Habits" spends its first week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and rebounds for a third week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. tally.
Billboard's two global charts (the latest of which are dated July 31) began last September and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data.
'Bad Habits' Back to No. 1 on Global Excl. U.S. Chart
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" rebounds from No. 2 for a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 53.6 million streams (essentially even week-over-week) and 25,100 sold (down 10%) in territories outside the U.S. in the July 16-22 tracking week.
BTS's "Permission to Dance" dips to No. 2 in its second week on the Global Excl. U.S. survey, ceding the summit with 73.6 million streams (down 53%) and 22,800 sold (down 76%) outside the U.S.
Måneskin's "Beggin' " rises 4-3 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, after reaching No. 2, and BTS' "Butter" slides 3-4, after five weeks on top.
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" pushes 6-5 in its second week on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, sparked by its 3% gain to 43.6 million streams outside the U.S. The Kid LAROI, from Australia, achieves his first top five Global Excl. U.S. hit and Bieber (Canada) adds his fourth. The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated July 31) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (July 27). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard's subscription-based service. For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.

Whew, lots to talk about in this weekly update from Khan compared to last time! docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jSdctFcLyQl6HJYoi9Jr2OHFGkn-TBnxWVFNxMlzrto/edit?usp=sharing- First off, I'm gonna fix another mistake. It turns out that I missed BEAM, a Jamaica-born artist who was featured on "Love You Different" from Justin Bieber's last album. This means that Jamaica is not ruled by Sean Paul's Sia feature on btoh charts, since "Love You Different" previously hit #58 on the main chart and #83 on the Excl. US chart. (I discovered this because, while BEAM's song isn't charting anymore, Sleepy Hallow's "2055" is, and that's the Jamaican leader for July 31st.) - In more fun and exciting news, the British rule the world again! Wait that's not fun After no less than THREE songs peaking at #2 on the main global chart, it's Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" that finally gives the queen's land her first chart-topper. Personally, I am seriously shocked it took almost a year of the chart existing for this to happen, considering how important the UK is to modern music. But of course it had to be Ed Sheeran all along... - And a few more big pieces of European news on the Excl. US chart. First of all, Austria gets its first representation on the chart through rapper RAF Camora, which made it to #171 this week there. - The other is the continued rise and new peak of Romania's Minelli, whose song keeps making steady gains on the bottom half of the Excl. US chart. - More July 31st specific news! I haven't been keeping track of this specifically so I don't know exactly how long it's been, but this week is the first in a long time where zero Americans occupy any of the top five on the Excl. US chart! Finally living up to the name. Not much week-by-week changes other than that except for "Paani Panni" and "Sangenshoku" reclaiming their rank as leading songs for India and Japan respectively.

Plus, Austria impacts the Global charts for the first time.
On the Billboard Global 200 dated July 31, Pop Smoke leads the haul of new arrivals, as 14 songs from his LP Faith debut, from "Tell the Vision," featuring Kanye West and Pusha T, at No. 33, to "Top Shotta," with The Neptunes and featuring Pusha T, Travi and Beam, at No. 180.
While five of those titles by the late Brooklyn-born rapper also hit the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, the ranking reveals a wider swath of geographical diversity, with debuts from acts representing South America, Europe and Asia.
As the entire world locks its eyes on Tokyo during the Olympic Games, Japanese singer Belle sports two Global Excl. U.S. debuts, including the week's highest entry. Her collaboration with Millennium Parade (also from Japan), "U," enters at No. 34, while her solo track "Gales of Song" starts at No. 176, with both performed in Japanese. "U" serves as the theme song for the upcoming anime film Ruyy to Subakasu no Hime, recalling other film-inspired chart appearances for Japanese acts including Bump of Chicken and Lisa. "U" was the best-selling song outside the U.S. in the week ending July 22, with 26,000 downloads sold, according to MRC Data. "Gales of Song" was the week's fifth best-seller, with 16,300.
Four European exports hit the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Songs by France's Kungs ("Never Going Home;" No. 175), Germany's Jonasu ("Black Magic;" No. 179) and the U.K.'s Jamie Miller ("Here's Your Perfect;" No. 196) arrive, all sung in English despite the diversity of their locales.
But Raf Camora strays from the pack, with the German-language "Zukunft" arriving at No. 171. Not only is it the only non-English Global Excl. U.S. debut by a European act this week, Camora is the first Austrian act to grace the chart (dating to the Global lists' September 2020 launches).
Plus, four Spanish-language titles make Global Excl. U.S. bows, encompassing acts from Puerto Rico (Farruko), Argentina (Emilia and Duki), Colombia (Camilo) and Mexico (Ingratax). Camilo's arrival is the one mixed-language debut of the week, via his team-up with Shawn Mendes on the Spanglish, and remixed (as a duet), "KESI" at No. 85. It also opens at No. 105 on the Global 200.

Billboard's two worldwide tallies rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories.
The Kid LAROI, from Australia, and Canadian Justin Bieber climb to No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart with "Stay." The Kid LAROI claims his first leader on the list and Bieber adds his second.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" posts a fourth week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, after becoming the English singer-songwriter's first No. 1 on the survey.
Plus, Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby" bounds onto the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts at Nos. 3 and 8, respectively.
Billboard's two global charts (the latest of which are dated Aug. 7) began last September and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data.
The Kid LAROI & Bieber Begin 'Stay' at No. 1
After spending its first two weeks on the Billboard Global 200 at No. 2, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" ascends to No. 1. The song reigns with 75.1 million streams (up 6%) and 13,900 sold worldwide (up 11%) in the July 23-29 tracking week.
The Kid LAROI leads the Global 200 for the first time, after previously reaching the top 10 with "Without You," with Miley Cyrus (No. 10 peak in May). Bieber banks his second No. 1, after "Peaches," featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, debuted atop the April 3-dated list.
The Kid LAROI, born and raised in New South Wales, is the first Australian-born artist to top the Global 200 since the chart began. (He's the second act raised in Australia to reign: Rosé, who was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in Melbourne, Australia, and who is now based in South Korea, led for a week with "On the Ground" upon its debut in March.)
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" drops to No. 2 on the Global 200, a week after topping the chart, and Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby," released July 23, soars in at No. 3. Lil Nas X adds his second top 10 on the tally, after "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" reigned for five weeks in April-May. Harlow hits the top 10 for the first time.
Måneskin's "Beggin' " slips to No. 4 on the Global 200 from its No. 3 high and Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" drops 4-5, after six weeks at No. 1.
'Bad Habits' Holds Atop Global Excl. U.S. Chart Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" notches a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 52.3 million streams (down 3%) and 23,300 sold (down 7%) in territories outside the U.S. in the July 23-29 tracking week. Måneskin's "Beggin' " rises 3-2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, returning to its best rank; BTS' "Permission to Dance" dips 2-3, two weeks after launching at the summit; The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" ascends 5-4 for a new high; and Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" pushes 6-5, after reaching No. 2. Elsewhere in the Global Excl. U.S. top 10, Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby" debuts at No. 8. As on the Global 200, Lil Nas X lands his second top 10 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, following "Montero" (four weeks at No. 1 in May), while Harlow logs his first. The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated July 31) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Aug. 3). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard's subscription-based service. Khan's weekly global charts update has some big news this week! Namely, THREE new countries to add to the list. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jSdctFcLyQl6HJYoi9Jr2OHFGkn-TBnxWVFNxMlzrto/edit?usp=sharing- First of all, there's Palestine. Belly is a rapper with roots there and Canada, and his collaboration with The Weeknd and Young Thug has earned Palestine its first entries in both global charts, even in the top half on the main one! - Austria charted on the Excl. US chart last week through rapper RAF Camora, but the country has now made its way onto the main chart with a different song by the same artist! This one being a collab with German rapper Bonez MC. It of course reaches a new peak on the Excl. US chart as well. - Finally, there's Singapore. An artist by the name of Dhruv and his song "Double Take" have cracked onto the Excl. US chart at #143 this week, giving Singapore its first appearance anywhere. - Other than that, there's big news for Cuba as it finally gets a second entry. It's Camila Cabello again, this time with a new song that jumps the island nation into the top fifty on both charts, clear new peaks. - Other than "Industry Baby" claiming the top spot for the USA this week, there isn't really any good August 7th specific news to share. All the songs that were leading for their country last week pretty much stayed the same this week.

Billboard's two worldwide tallies rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories.
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber spend a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart with "Stay," while Ed Sheeran adds a fifth week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. tally with "Bad Habits."
Plus, Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever" enters the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts at Nos. 6 and 8, respectively.
Billboard's two global charts (the latest of which are dated Aug. 14) began last September and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data. The Billboard Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the U.S.
Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts' calculations.
The Kid LAROI & Bieber 'Stay' at No. 1
"Stay" by The Kid LAROI, from Australia, and Justin Bieber, from Canada, scores a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. The song drew 88 million streams (up 17%) and sold 21,400 downloads worldwide (up 54%) in the July 30-Aug. 5 tracking week.
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" holds at No. 2 on the Global 200, after a week atop the chart; Måneskin's "Beggin' " rebounds to its No. 3 high from No. 4; Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby" descends 3-4 in its second week on the survey; and Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" keeps at No. 5, after six weeks at No. 1.
Elsewhere in the Global 200's top 10, Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever" debuts at No. 6 with 59.8 million streams and 6,100 sold worldwide. The title track from her new album marks her third top 10 on the chart, all from the set and all of which have debuted in the tier: "Therefore I Am" arrived at its No. 2 high last November and "Your Power" started at its No. 6 peak this May.
'Bad' Good for Fifth Week on Top
"Bad Habits" by Ed Sheeran, from England, posts a fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 54.6 million streams (up 4%) and 22,600 sold (down 3%) in territories outside the U.S. in the July 30-Aug. 5 tracking week.
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" climbs 4-2 for a new Global Excl. U.S. high, with 58.6 million streams (up 27%) and 7,200 sold (up 40%) outside the U.S.
Måneskin's "Beggin' " backtracks to No. 3 from its No. 2 Global Excl. U.S. best; BTS' "Permission to Dance" dips 3-4, after a week at the summit; and Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" is steady at No. 5, after reaching No. 2.
Plus, Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever" debuts at No. 8 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 36.6 million streams and 2,200 sold outside the U.S. As on the Global 200, Eilish earns her third top 10, following "Therefore I Am" (No. 2 debut and peak) and "Your Power" (No. 5). The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated Aug. 14) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Aug. 10). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard's subscription-based service. For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.

Reee had some technical difficulties on this one that delayed me for an annoying time but whatevs whatevs, we got another weekly update on the global charts from Khan! docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jSdctFcLyQl6HJYoi9Jr2OHFGkn-TBnxWVFNxMlzrto/edit?usp=sharing- The Dominican Republic gets a new all-time peak today! The bachata band Aventura has a collab with Bad Bunny charting at #27 this week, and one of their members—Henry Santos—hails from the republic. This takes the peak from Natti Natasha on the main chart, though she does retain the peak on the Excl. US chart. - Me fixing the Jamaica problem last week came just in time, as this is the week where Sleepy Hallow nabs the Jamaican peak from BEAM by just 5 spots! Just as with the DR above, BEAM still retains the peak on the Excl. US chart since "2055" only debuted there this week. - There is at least one new peak on the Excl. US chart to talk about, and that's Singapore. Dhruv, who debuted last week, and his song are rising slowly and amidst the Billie Eilish album bomb. It might even cross over to the main chart soon. - Now, onto the August 14th specific news. Blackpink is back on the charts! Dunno why "How You Like That" had this resurgence but it puts Thailand back on through member Lisa. In Japan, Yoasobi has kept releasing English versions of their songs, which puts "Kaibutsu" as the Japanese leader. Sadly Billboard doesn't tell me if it's really the normal version or "Monster" (the English translation) that makes up the most chart points this week. And why is the English release being treated like a remix on this chart when their rule is usually that a new vocal recording means a different charting presence? Anyways, up next is Wizkid and Tems, who finally overtake Darkoo on the "Body" remix on the main chart for biggest Nigerian song this week, which makes my spreadsheet a little thinner. "Higher Power" fell so hard that "Something Just like This" represents Wales this week instead (through Welsh Coldplay member Jonny Buckland). And finally, on the Excl. US chart only, Ingratax has snatched the Mexican crown away from Gera MX and Christian Nodal.

Billboard's two worldwide tallies rank songs based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories.
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber boast the biggest song in the world, as "Stay" spends a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and climbs from No. 2 for its first week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. survey.
Plus, The Weeknd's new single "Take My Breath" enters the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts at Nos. 5 and 7, respectively.
Billboard's two global charts (the latest of which are dated Aug. 21) began last September and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data.
'Stay' Scores Third Week Atop Global 200
"Stay" by The Kid LAROI, from Australia, and Justin Bieber, from Canada, adds a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. The song, The Kid LAROI's first leader on the list and Bieber's second, drew 108.5 million streams (up 23%) and sold 21,000 downloads worldwide (down 2%) in the Aug. 6-12 tracking week.
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" holds at No. 2 on the Global 200, after a week atop the chart; Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby" returns to its best rank (4-3); and Måneskin's "Beggin'" dips to No. 4 from its No. 3 high.
The Weeknd's "Take My Breath" debuts at No. 5 on the Global 200 with 52.5 million streams and 23,000 sold worldwide following its Aug. 6 release. The Canadian singer-songwriter earns his fourth top five hit since the chart began, following "Save Your Tears," with Ariana Grande (No. 1, one week), "Blinding Lights" (No. 2) and "Hawái," with Maluma (No. 3).
'Stay' Leads for First Time Outside U.S.
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" posts its first week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, rising from No. 2 with 78.4 million streams (up 34%) and 8,500 sold (up 18%) in territories outside the U.S. in the Aug. 6-12 tracking week.
As on the Global 200, "Stay" is The Kid LAROI's first Global Excl. U.S. No. 1 and Bieber's second, after his own "Peaches," featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, for five weeks in April-May. Bieber becomes the first soloist with multiple Global Excl. U.S. leaders and the second act overall, after BTS (four).
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" drops to No. 2 after five weeks atop the Global Excl. U.S. chart; Måneskin's "Beggin' " holds at No. 3 after hitting No. 2; Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby" ascends to the top five (7-4), becoming the former's second song to reach the tier and the latter's first; and Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" is steady at No. 5, after five weeks at its No. 2 high.
Plus, The Weeknd's "Take My Breath" starts at No. 7 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 34.3 million streams and 9,200 sold outside the U.S. The song is his fourth top 10, joining "Hawái" (No. 1, one week) and the No. 2-peaking "Blinding Lights" and "Save Your Tears." The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated Aug. 21) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Aug. 17). For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard's subscription-based service. For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.

3). Hold on now, what's this? It's true that The Weeknd's remix with Maluma is what led Hawái to its #3 peak a few weeks after the Global 200 started (in fact that makes Hawái the biggest Colombian song on the chart by peak) but that only pushed it up, it wasn't actually enough to credit The Weeknd on the song at the time. Kind of like how the Go Crazy remix pushed it up to #3 on the Hot 100 but it was still just credited to Chris Brown and Young Thug. So now I'm wondering if this is some sort of mistake, and if it is, then is the mistake crediting The Weeknd in this article or was The Weeknd supposed to actually be credited all those weeks ago?

Annnd now another weekly update from Khan on the global charts! It's a pretty normal week, but I will note we're coming very close to the one year anniversary of the chart! Some songs (and therefore countries) have been on here the entire time. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jSdctFcLyQl6HJYoi9Jr2OHFGkn-TBnxWVFNxMlzrto/edit?usp=sharing- "2055" by Sleepy Hallow continues its great streaming gains, which gives it a small new peak that finally pushes Jamaica into the top 50 on the main chart for the first time. - Midweek releases amirite? Aventura's collab with Bad Bunny debuted last week, but its full impact is felt this time. Due to the massive star power of Bad Bunny and a member of Aventura, Henry Santos, being from the Dominican Republic, this song is now the highest peak for that country of all time! It rockets into the top 20, hitting #11 and knocking Natti Natasha handily out of the top spot she's held for a few months. It does the same with the Excl. US chart, though at a slightly lower peak of #17 now. - Speaking of the Excl. US chart, we have a new #1 there! It's the third for Australia and the second for Canada as The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber take the spot. It's also the first #1 there for a fully born-there live-there Australian artist, as was detailed when Laroi went to #1 on the main chart a little bit ago. - Turkey makes a sudden comeback on the Excl. US chart. Sefo's song "Bilmem Mi?" overtakes the previous Turkish high held by Ezhel, though it's still in the lower half of the chart. - By technicality, Russia also makes a comeback! Soviet-born but mostly German singer Helene Fischer actually ties the #165 peak for Russians held by rapper Capital Bra due to her collaboration with Luis Fonsi. Russia is now the only country to ever have a tie with its peak outside of the top 50, and only one of two to do it outside the top 20 (India did it once a while ago at around the #30 spot). This is all only on the Excl. US chart btw. - As for August 21st specific news: We have quite the rare moment of BTS dropping out of the top 10 on the main chart. If I recall correctly, this only happened once right before "Butter" released. "Ride It" comes back over "You" for Kosovar rep, both spots held by Regard of course. (That's the main chart, "Ride It" has been the highest Kosovar song on the Excl. US chart for almost the entire time.) The same Coldplay-Wales technically from last week has come back, making "Yellow" the highest Welsh song on the main chart at this moment.
