If Bad Boy somehow manages to debut top 10, we could have 2 Young Thug songs (features) in the top 10 at once. This would be his first time achieving such a feat, as he has previously only had one three top 10's (Havana, Goodbyes, and Franchise w/ Go Crazy being his second fourth top 10)

I still believe that weeks 2, 3, and 4 are locked in at #1 for drivers license. I think the first potential challenge will come in the 5th week, when The Weeknd performs in Super Bowl LV. Blinding Lights and maybe even Save Your Tears, if they are performed, could challenge for the #1 on the February 20 chart. Proceeds to sing "Pray For Me", "Starboy", "Can't Feel My Face", and "Over Now" to give all chart watchers the finger. πΏ Imagine he performs take on me and circles instead |

Go away, both of you. At the very least, I have hope that this won't even chart, given that all of Jason Derulo's 2020 singles have failed to chart upon immediate release in the US (he's more of an international act nowadays) and that Adam Levine's solo work doesn't get the same level of traction his band gets when they release new music. |

Just to add on since spotifycharts only starts with 2017, I used kworb to check Q2 2013-Q4 2016, and looks like only Closer even doubled the runner-up with a 102% lead. At the early end of that, songs were going #1 with under 2 mil a week as Americans were more relying on sales/Youtube. On the sales side, as a comparison, the first song to triple the runner-up was by Taylor (WANEGBT). The first song to quadruple the runner-up was by Adele (Hello). Up through 2019, the biggest sales leads were still by Adele and Taylor (with LWYMMD). In 2020 sales were so buried by streaming that strategic website buys gave absurdly large sales leads so technically 2020 has the #1 weeks with the 6 largest leads (while mostly failing to top streaming). Btw for those playing Pulse bingo, we can punch out the space for "argument about radio" Thanks for reminding me of these two gems from last winter that deserve to be updated.  by former member @killamonjaro  by lurker2 There are plenty of these we can keep, but I propose we switch out some of these. For example, DSN Good can be switched to Dua Lipa good or something like that. Maroon 5 can include Adam Levine as well. SYL bad can be replaced to BYG bad. The Box is dead can be changed out with DL is dead. Blinding Lights is still good to keep around though, as it's still being talked about. I don't know what we could replace the two posty ones with though. Perhaps add Post Malone to the "new music" or switch out TWYW with some other song or artist becoming increasingly notorious for being caught between years, like "Midnight Sky" or anything by Taylor Swift. |

I haven't liked a Jason Derulo song since he dropped the horrendous 'Trumpets.' The "Want To Want Me", "Cheyenne", and "Make Up" erasure. The moment Jason Derulo became pretty great, the mainstream dropped him. While the former still managed to become a hit, the other two deserved so much better. |

fengyu "Make Up" is a more obscure choice from my part. It's a collaboration with Vice and Ava Max (before she blew up), and it's such an infectiously groovy song where both play off each other really well. Quick Spotify updates: - "drivers license" remains at #1, still with 3x more streams than "Good Days", our #2 - The "34+35" remix is still at #4, but it had a significant drop in overall streams. - "Blinding Lights" might re-enter the top 10 soon - again. - New peaks for "Save Your Tears" and "Streets" at #14 and #16 respectively. - "Lie Lie Lie" and "De Una Vez" completely dropped off the top 200.
