Opening Thought: Sorry about the delay, but now is the time! Even as a Tenille Arts fan, it was refreshing to visit her old materials, and I myself made some discoveries while planning this RD. Of all the songs in the list, What He's Into is the only song that made it to Canadian country chart, peaked at #47. Her name was not nationally known in Canada, while she was still winning some awards from Saskatchewan Country Music Association. Self-titled EP was released in 2016, and her debut full album was released in 2017, followed by the deluxe version coming out in early 2018. Due to the time constraint, I did not create the chart this time. We are kicking off this reveal with #1 loss!!!!

#20 Good About It
Kicking off the reveal with #1 loss by ClevelandRox , my condolence... On the other hand, castleoblivion26 and LBTrocks had a great start by getting rid of #20 with perfect rankings. Except for ClevelandRox 's #1 ranking, this song was in the bottom half of the list from all other participants. CLD's ThoughtI don't dislike this song, but I feel like it's kinda fluffy as a song, if that makes sense. It is pleasant and positive, but I just feel like there's not much depth to this song, and Tenille's vocal performance was not well-highlighted. And after a while, "Good About It Good About It" chorus melody started sounding a bit boring to me. |

#19 There's This Boy
ClevelandRox is not alone anymore in losing a top 5 song! It's almost fascinating that this song received only four rankings, and except for my own ranking, it was distributed among #14, #16 and #17, which makes it the third least polarizing song. CLD's ThoughtThis song is actually one of the oldest Tenille's songs that I have in my playlist, so I sort of feel the connection with this, even though it's not her strongest output. I do like her vocal performance, and the melody is pretty catchy to me ears. Lyrical development is nothing memorable, but I still enjoy this song here and there. |

The first song to leave from self-titled EP is Me and Don Henley. castleoblivion26 becomes the third participant to lose one of the top 5 songs, while tim , .indulgecountry , and myself scored perfect rankings. CLD's ThoughtThis song was the most forgettable one from the self-titled EP. Listening to this right now, I may have underranked this by a few, but still, does not stand out as much, vocally or melodically. As I enjoy many of other materials from the EP, I am okay with this being the lowest song from the EP. |

This is the first song without top 5 rankers, but still received decent rankings from bboat11 and castleoblivion26 . This is the first song released by Tenille through Noble Vision Music Group after she relocated to Nashville. This is a charity single in support of cystic fibrosis research. As i was not released through her current label 19th & Grand, it is not available on Spotify. CLD's ThoughtAs for the song, it is understandably on a safer side, and the chorus part is a bit repetitive lyrically. I will not further criticize this song though, as this song definitely has a great cause, and I think Tenille's team did a great job in delivering the theme/message through this song, lyrically and vocally. |

#16 Black Velvet
The second least polarizing song is leaving, filling up the last bottom 5 spot. Two participants ranked this in the bottom 3, but other than that, looks like most participants had sort of indifferent opinion on this cover. This was originally released by Alannah Myles in 1990 as a rock/blues style song. This song was included only in the deluxe version of Rebel Child. CLD's ThoughtI do like the original version, and I like Tenille's cover fine as well. However, I do miss Alannah Myles's rough vocal for this song. Her voice definitely adds some dark vibe to this song, while Tenille's voice is more on the positive side, so it did not create the dark mood of the song that I was looking for. Still, her vocal performance itself was not bad. Production wise, I didn't dislike Tenille's poppier production, but I do miss the original blues vibe. |

🌺CountryLineDancer you have the wrong video for "Black Velvet". Speaking of that song I do love that song but Tenille's voice doesn't compare to Alannah Myles' vocals, so I echo what you said because it definitely falls short compared to the original.

#15 What He's Into
This song was released from her self-titled EP as her official debut single to Canadian radio, and peaked at #47 on the chart. This is the only song in this list that made it to the airplay chart. This song ended up becoming the most polarizing song, .indulgecountry and LBTrocks suffered from the top 5 loss, while four participants getting rid of their bottom 5, including two last spots from myself and toomuchboy. CLD's ThoughtThis song has a good energy, but not a fan of the melody or lyrics. Looking at this being her debut single, had this been my first encounter to Tenille's material, not sure I would have been into her like right now. Sort of interesting to see myself ranking this #20, while LBTrocks enjoying it with #2 ranking, as he just pointed out how different opinion we had on Michael Ray's Holy Water and Just The Way I Am on New Country RD thread. |
