#14 Good Guys
Another rather polarizing song is leaving, with toomuchboy losing his #2 while tim gladly bidding farewell to his #20. CLD's ThoughtI do like this song. I might have underranked it a bit. It's nothing special, and sort of safe, but I like the melody. I'm quite surprised to see #20 or #19 rankings, as this song did not stand out in anyways compared with her other tunes, negatively or positively. Next two songs are tying in score, so I will take the one with higher standard deviation as #13, instead of calling a tie, as it is outside of the top 5. 1 participant will join ClevelandRox by losing #1 spot!

#13 Bridges Burn
LBTrocks joined ClevelandRox and becomes the second person to lose #1, while .indulgecountry got rid of his #20 spot. Having both #1 and #20 rankings, this became the third most polarizing song. CLD's ThoughtListening to this song right now, I might have been too harsh on this song. It's not bad at all, I like the delivery and melody, and it has a powerful rock vibe as well, but I guess it did not stand out when I was spinning the album to create my own list. I sort of regret putting this in my bottom 5. A bit surprised to see #20.

#12 Outta My Mind
Another song with 93 point is leaving. This song received rankings mostly around the middle, while LBTrocks lost another top 5 song, and myself placed this at the second to last spot. CLD's ThoughtThis song has a bit dark mood, and I'm not a big fan of the key of this song. Melody is alright, but overall, not my favorite output by Tenille. I will continue tomorrow, starting with another tie between #11 and #10, and #11 has a #1 loss.

#11 Red Flag White
Kicking off the third reveal day with #1 loss by toomuchboy. On the other hand, ClevelandRox got rid of his last spot, leaving bboat11 to be the only participant with #20 alive. CLD's ThoughtThis is a really good song. I love Tenille's delivery, and vocal performance is really strong. The chorus melody and lyrics are very distinct and memorable. I wish this made it to the top 10, but glad at least toomuchboy enjoyed it well enough to place this at his #1 spot. And yes, this might be one of the few songs that is referring to the flag in the title, but not patriotic.

"Good Guys" could definitely be a tad tighter lyrically, but she performed it well enough and I appreciate the sentiment so much, it makes up for the rough edges.

#10 Dash Light
This song managed to get into the top 10, winning a tie against Red Flag White with 0.07 standard deviation difference. Another sad reveal for myself and toomuchboy. Unfortunately, toomuchboy lost all of his top 3 songs with this reveal. On the other hand, .indulgecountry cleared his bottom 5 with this reveal. CLD's ThoughtThis is a really strong song! Definitely one of my favs from her EP. The lyrics are nothing too special, while I love the chorus melody. This is my favorite type of mid-tempo pop country song by a female artist.

#9 Raindrops, Dirt Roads
Next up is Raindrops, Dirt Roads. Being the third least polarizing song, most of the rankings were around #10, except for one top 5 ranking by ClevelandRox and one bottom 5 ranking by bboat11 . CLD's ThoughtI do like this song okay, but I was expecting this to be close to the top 5 on Pulse. It's a nice ballad song with a distinct melody. I tend to prefer Tenille's uptempo/midtempo song, but this is definitely on the stronger side compared with her some other ballad songs.

#8 Steal A Heart
Steal A Heart is leaving next. With this reveal, ClevelandRox lost all of his top 5, while @castleobivion got rid of all of his bottom 5 songs. CLD's ThoughtThis song lasted longer than I though. The melody is indeed strong, and I do enjoy the powerful vocal at the chorus that goes well with the lyrics, but not keen on the key of the song. This song was still pretty memorable among the songs that I placed between #10 - #16, some of which did not give me any impression.

#7 I Can Do the Leavin'
The second most polarizing song is leaving, i point above Steal A Heart! This song received four top 5 rankings, while ClevelandRox and LBTrocks placed this in their bottom 3. With this song leaving, Wildfire and Whiskey is the only song remaining from the self-titled EP. CLD's ThoughtAnother favorite song of mine from the EP, love this melody and lyrics. I was worried when the first two lists from ClevelandRox and tim placed this song pretty low, but glad it came back to top 7. While I do like her new album Girl to Girl, I do miss some of her songs with strong melody from this EP era, including this one or Dash Light.

#6 Alabama
Alabama is the last song to miss the top 5, and .indulgecountry becomes the 4th participant to lose #1. On the other hand, bboat11 becomes the last participant to get rid of #20. 6 out of 8 participants placed this song in the top half of the list. CLD's ThoughtLyrically, this was not as appealing as other songs personally, but I really like the production and Tenille's delivery. Mood of this song somehow reminded me of Rumour by Lee Brice.

#5 Moment of Weakness
First and only multiple #1 losses in this RD1 bboat11 and tim lost their #1s while ClevelandRox cleared his bottom 5 with this reveal. Tenille appeared on The Bachelor and played this song. It was listed as a single, according to Wikipedia, while did not enter any of the airplay chart. CLD's ThoughtThis song is not bad, but had I been on Tenille's team, I would not have chosen this song as a song to perform on the show. It's a solid song, but the melody was not appealing enough for me to be in my top 10 here.

#4 Cold Feet
Cold Feet is the first and only song accompanied by a music video. This song was also released as a single, while never made it to any of the chart. This song received four top 5 rankings, while toomuchboy cleared his bottom 5. CLD's ThoughtReleasing this to the radio was definitely a good move, as I found this song to have a very distinct melody and lyrics, and Tenille's vocal performance is standing out well. (Released in July 2017). Surprised that this never made it to any of the chart, while still glad that many participants enjoyed this song here.

#3 Rebel Child
Title track is leaving, missing the top 2 by 9 points! toomuchboy becomes the last participant to clear the bottom 5 with this reveal. 6 out of 8 participants placed this song in the top half of the list. CLD's ThoughtThis is a great track to open the album imo. The melody is pretty strong, and Tenille's vocal is distinct, while not a big fan of runnin', runnin' part. Also, as I went through the album, more stronger tracks started showing up, and this song became not as memorable by the end.

It's been kinda quiet, so feel free to drop some thoughts on the reveals so far/some predictions. That's an understatement lol as it sure has been quiet here in Tractorville as of late. I probably needed to go back and revisit some of these songs as quite a few months have passed since I listened to these, but that isn't to say I haven't been following along! Anyways, thought I'd try and get in a few thoughts at least before the top two are revealed. Speaking of, I'd have to think that "Wildfire and Whiskey" is the likely favorite to come out on top as it was very close to being my #1 as well. That of course went to "Moment of Weakness" which is the one song I kept coming back around to revisit the most. That said, I'm glad I don't watch The Bachelor because my view of the song might've been tainted a tad bit had I seen her performance on that haha. It should also come as no surprise to me that LBTrocks would place it in his bottom 5...while we can usually find some common ground in the middle, more than not our top and bottom ranking songs are usually quite the opposite .

TIE!! #1 Wildfire and Whiskey
#1 Run Out of You
This is it, there are two winners here! Wildfire and Whiskey is a single from her self-titled album, and the only song that did not have any bottom half rankings. At the same time, it did not receive any #1 ranking, and only three top 3 rankings. #7 was somehow the popular spot for this song. On the other hand, Run Out of You received one bottom 10 rankings from castleoblivion26 and #1 ranking from myself. It also received five top 5 rankings. CLD's ThoughtI love this finish, as these are my top 2! I adore the melody of Run Out Of You, it's magnificent. Wildfire and Whiskey has a very catchy chorus melody, and great mid-tempo output by Tenille. Shame that neither of these beautiful tunes saw radio, but great to see many participants enjoying them.

I really had no idea what to expect going into this as this was the first time I had listened to her debut album, but considering that "Wildfire and Whiskey" was dang near my #1 song a tie seems like the perfect outcome! Tenille has admittedly never been on my radar until "Somebody Like That" and so this rankdown certainly helped introduce me to her other material. Also, "One Bedroom Apartment" was one of my favorite discoveries from this months new releases rankdown, so I'm excited to see how well it performs there (I'm thinking nothing less than a top 8 showing for sure!). Thanks as always for the hosting duties 🌺CountryLineDancer ! I don't know where the rest of Tractorville is, but I'm sure they'll catch up soon enough lol.

Closing Thought:Thank you everyone for participating and sorry about the delay in the reveal. (Re-)visiting Tenille's pre-radio career material, I just wish her career started with some of these songs. I am pretty sure some posters felt the same way, looking at participants like .indulgecountry/ tim mentioning making some discoveries. With stronger label promotion, songs like Run Out Of You, Cold Feet, or Moment of Weakness had a potential to become a strong radio hit. As much as I enjoy Tenille's recent materials, I feel like many of her songs, especially ballad/slow-tempo songs, had stronger melody in this era. castleoblivion26 takes the cake in the perfect rankings. While I am going to start my next RD, which is the 2021 YE RD, please feel free to drop your though on the reveal if you catch up late. Final Result:1. Run Out Of You (42) 1. Wildfire and Whiskey (42) 3. Rebel Child (53) 4. Cold Feet (60) 5. Moment of Weakness (63) 6. Alabama (69) 7. I Can Do the Leavin' (79) 8. Steal A Heart (80) 9. Raindrops, Dirt Roads (85) 10. Dash Light (86) 11. Red Flag White (86) 12. Outta My Mind (93) 13. Bridges Burn (93) 14. Good Guys (96) 15. What He's Into (97) 16. Black Velvet (104) 17. Breathe (106) 18. Me and Don Henley (110) 19. There's This Boy (115) 20. Good About It (121) Perfect Rankings:castleoblivion26 - 5 🌺CountryLineDancer - 3 tim - 2 LBTrocks - 2 .indulgecountry - 1 bboat11 - 1 toomuchboy - 1 ClevelandRox - 0

2021 Year-End CAN Country RDDeadline: December 16 Top 5 will make it to 2021 YE Country RD
Alright, time for a YE RD, and it's actually my first time hosting a YE RD at the actual year end. I made this list in the following ways. - One song per artist, mostly hit songs - The performance in my other YE RD or bboat11's New Country RD is taken into account so that there are more of Pulse's fav/fewer of unpopular songs. If you are planning to participate, I recommend not waiting until last minute, as I would like to complete the score counting with few extension, so that bboat11 can complete the list for his YE RD sooner than later.List of songs (34 songs) Aaron Goodvin - Boy Like Me Alli Walker - Country Music Amanda Jordan - Pretty Girl Andrew Hyatt - Neverland Brett Kissel - Night In The Life Buck Twenty - Cut Me Off Danielle Ryan - Weather Man David James - Then There’s You ft. Genevieve Fisher Dean Brody - Boys ft. Chris Lane Sykamore - Stay Broke Teigen Gayse - I Don’t Wanna Fall In Love Terri Clark - The Highway Tenille Arts - Give It To Me Straight Tenille Townes - Girl Who Don’t Care Tim & The Glory Boys - Me Without You Tyler Joe Miller - Fighting So just for my own fun, I'm making a guess on the final result, based on the previous results and my understanding of Pulse's taste. I may make some reference to it when I'm revealing. The prediction is being made as of Nov 18, and will not be edited at any point. {Predictions}1 Tenille Arts - Give It To Me Straight 2 Tenille Townes - Girl Who Don’t Care 3 Terri Clark - The Highway 4 Dean Brody - Boys ft.
