1. What is going to be #1? "Criminal" or "By The Way".
2. What is going to be #18? "Mint" please!
3. What else are going to be in the top 5? "Criminal" and "By the Way" for sure, then it's hard to say... "All Alright"? "Waiting On You"? "Trippin' On Us"? I would LOVE to see "Space" make it, personally!
4. What else are going to be in the bottom 5? "Mint", "Good" "Always Kiss the Girl", "White Noise", "Just Another Girl".
5. Which US single (Trippin' On Us, Shut Me Up, By The Way, Waiting On You, Criminal) is going to do the best/worst? Best: "Criminal". Worst: Probably "Shut Me Up", although that ones a huge guilty pleasure for me... I like it WAY more than "Trippin'''...
Edit: Wait wasn't "Champagne" an official single too? That'll probably do the worst of the singles, lol.
6. What is the most/least polarizing song? Most: "Champagne". Least: "By The Way"

I just found a thread for Champagne on Pulse, which means that it was a single in the US as well. It never entered any chart, as far as I know, so I totally forgot about it lol.

1. What is going to be #1? It'll be criminal if "Criminal" isn't!! 2. What is going to be #18? "Just Another Girl"? 3. What else are going to be in the top 5? "By The Way", "All Alright", "Waiting On You", "Shut Me Up"? 4. What else are going to be in the bottom 5? "Good", "White Noise" only 2 I feel comfortable. 5. Which US single (Trippin' On Us, Shut Me Up, By The Way, Waiting On You, Criminal) is going to do the best/worst? Best: Criminal Worst: Champagne 6. What is the most/least polarizing song? Most "Wildfire" Least: "Criminal" 7. Any thought on the album and extras? Loved this album even if I can see where it's not always perfect. I'd love to see what she could do if she fully broke out, I think her sound should resonate well if given the exposure.

1. What is going to be #1? "Criminal"
2. What is going to be #18? "Good" or else y'all did it wrong. I could also settle for either "Mint" or "White Noise" too tho I guess.
3. What else are going to be in the top 5? "Trippin' On Us" and "Shut Me Up" deserve to be in the top 5, but are probably going to get royally screwed. "Criminal" and "By The Way" are for sure locks for top 5. Maybe "Champagne" can slip in there, or an album track like "Space" or "Wildfire"
4. What else are going to be in the bottom 5? "Good," "White Noise," "Mint," "Just Another Girl" and I could see "Shut Me Up" getting royally tanked, too lol.
5. Which US single (Trippin' On Us, Shut Me Up, By The Way, Waiting On You, Criminal) is going to do the best/worst? Best: "Criminal" Worst: "Shut Me Up"
6. What is the most/least polarizing song? No idea really lol. Most idk. Least probs something like "By The Way"? I'm terrible @ predicting this
7. Any thought on the album and extras? I really hope "By The Way" doesn't win- I like it a lot but it is definitely not one of her strongest songs! "Trippin' On Us" and "Shut Me Up" better avoid the bottom 5 at least!!! Pretty sure those are pretty widely disliked on Pulse for some insane, unfathomable reason... especially SMU.

Ready??1. 🌺CountryLineDancer 2. Kanenrá:ke 3. James 4. zaclord 🌈 5. bboat11 6. ClevelandRox 7. SHOOTER 8. tim 9. .indulgecountry 10. castleoblivion26 11. LBTrocks Opening Thought:Lindsay Ell is one of a few contemporary Canadian artists whose name you see on the US airplay chart regularly, which is perfect for the first contemporary Canadian artist album series on Pulse. Got 11 participants, which is the same number as the year-end RD in this thread. 8 out of 18 songs were released as singles in Canada, and 5 of them were non-album singles. Also, it took Kanenrá:ke only 8 hours to submit his list!!! My status says "Biggest Canadian Country Music Fan on Pulse", but about Lindsay Ell, he's definitely above me! #18, one person is losing his #5!

#18 Mint
The bottom of this RD is "Mint", as bboat11 and LBTrocks predicted. .indulgecountry becomes the first one to lose his #1, while 2 participants scored perfect rankings. CLD's Thought
While her attempt to use "mint" to refer to a relationship is creative, she could’ve done a better job. The mood of this song is pleasant, but I always figure this song to be too light, kinda up in the air, because of the overly poppy production. I think cold, ballad production could have worked for this title, instead of this light, poppy production. Also, mint ice cream is the best thing in the world, but would be the most polarizing one in the ice cream RD

I have no idea what y'all are listening to in "Mint" to think it's her weakest because I absolutely love it and have always thought it was a highlight.

#17 Good
#17 is Good, which never went higher than #16 throughout this RD. LBTrocks becomes the third person to lose his #18 and bboat11 scored another perfect ranking. CLD's ThoughtLooks like I'm the only one who thought "Good" to be good, ( tim seemed to be not too impressed with this album, so I'm cautious to talk about his #9 here lol). I love this guitar melody throughout this song, while admittedly, lyrics are shallow.

#16 Worth The Wait
zaclord 🌈 becomes the first person to lose his top 3 at #16! Nobody mentioned this to be in the bottom 5 in the pre-reveal questions, but ended up sneaking even into the bottom 3. "Worth The Wait is also the first song to leave from the EP "Worth The Wait", which was released 5 months prior to "The Project" CLD's ThoughtThis song also has a great guitar melody and solid verse, which creates this whole ballad mood of the song, but the chorus melody is just so weak! With stronger chorus melody, this song would have been much better and memorable. Missed opportunity for me.

I completely agree. I really love parts of the instrumental, but Worth The Wait's chorus needed to be a little stronger. :/ .

"Good" is really awful. It's the one song in this RD that I absolutely cannot listen to. It should have been last place, but I'll take 17 too.
"Mint" is also not very good sadly, albeit slightly catchy. But it's another one I skip more often than not. The bottom 2 is correct, just in reverse order lol.
I like "Worth The Wait" but it's a song you have to be in the right mood for to thoroughly enjoy. It's very pretty tho and she sounded great, although the production on her vocals brings it down.

#15 Castle
Another song that was never mentioned in the pre-reveal question is filling the 4th spot of the bottom 5. castleoblivion26 becomes the 4th person to lose his #18. CLD's ThoughtSame as Mint, this song is pleasant, but very light and poppy. Not keen on the lyrics either. The bridge part has a nice guitar solo though.

"Castle" is so good tho! Really wish this could have done better. This is light and catchy, but also somehow manages to have a bit of a dark edge to it as well! I love this one so much!

Probably gonna jinx it, but pleasantly surprised Always Kiss The Girl escaped the bottom 4. I loved it and ranked it really high but still thought it would be one of the first out.

#14 Just Another Girl
The last spot in the bottom 5 is Just Another Girl, which makes Kanenrá:ke happy. This song had a bad start, and managed to climbed up all the way here, but still could not avoid the bottom 5. The last 4 lists (Myself, Indulge, Castle, and LBTrocks) all put this at #10. CLD's ThoughtI may have underranked this by 2 or so. I always feel like the first part of the chorus is kinda messy and could have been better, because I love the catchy melody of the latter half, "Just Another Girl, Just Another Girl" part! Overall, catchy song with great melody except for the first half of the chorus.

#13 "Always Kiss the Girl"
The last reveal of the day! A song co-written by Carly Pearce, "Always Kiss The Girl" escaped the bottom 5 by 4 points. (2 points due to me underranking "Just Another Girl" lol) ClevelandRox and SHOOTER lose their top 5 here, while zaclord 🌈 got rid of his #18. CLD's ThoughtAgree with ClevelandRox , I'm happy that this escaped the bottom 5. This one is very poppy, but just super catchy and fun. I was quite worried, as this is the type of song that gets tanked in Pulse, but did better than I expected. That's it for today! I have finished a third of this RD, and no single has left yet! "White Noise" escaped the bottom 5, although the 3 posters predicted it to be in the bottom 5 in the pre-reveal questions. Remaining songs"Waiting on You" "Champagne" "Wildfire" "White Noise" "Criminal" "Space" "Trippin' On Us" "Pickup Truck" "Shut Me Up" "By The Way" "All Alright" "Standing Here"

I hadn't heard most of these songs until this rankdown but I feel like musically almost all of them are pretty good, but melodically she really struggled to have anything interesting on this record. I loved "Worth the Wait" musically, but agree that the chorus is really weak. I only actually love my top 2 so I'm not too sad about "Worth the Wait" being out already. That guitar lick after the chorus is my favorite thing about it.

I didn't care for that one. I do wish I had taken more time to listen to this album but unfortunately I didn't have the time to do so. That said, just cause my username is castleoblivion doesn't mean I'm gonna like a song named "Castle" lol.

I personally loved this album from the first time I heard it (except my bottom-3) so I can’t be too upset at any of these reveals (AKTG is total ear candy though and deserved a much higher placement).

#12 "Space"
Kicking off the second reveal day with "Space". This is the second song to leave from "Worth the Wait" EP. This was rather polarizing with three top 5 rankers and four bottom 5 rankers. CLD's ThoughtSpace is a well-written song (Co-written by Caitlyn Smith, which I can see her vibe in the song) with a dark mood that well matches with the distinct lyrics. Personally, not my favourite due to the lack of strong melody.
