It's still one of my favorites, and I love the 🎵 I got drunk, you got drunk 🎵 opening, but it just kept falling further and further down my lists. There was so much good stuff here.

My bottom three for this are not necessarily bad or anything, but I just feel like they're super forgettable in an otherwise stellar discography so far. I would say it would be my bottom 3 even if we ranked every one of his songs so far.

#10 Panorama
Panorama is the first song leaving from his EP "Panorama", from which no radio single was released, as it was released when To A T was climbing up the chart. Kris Kringle became the first participant to lose #1, and condolence to ClevelandRox who lost the top 2 songs in a row. This managed to escape the last spot after receiving the last few lists from bboat11 , Kris Kringle , and ClevelandRox . CLD's ThoughtThis song has a solid rock instrumental production, but wish the chorus melody was stronger. I'm not a big fan of the material from Panorama EP, compared with his other songs, and this one is quite average.

#9 Diamonds Or Twine
The last reveal of the day! The first song from To A T EP is leaving with #1 loss by zaclord 🌈, while maine got rid of #12. This started well with some high rankings from me and zaclord 🌈, but ended up pushed down to #9. This was released as a wedding gift to Maren Morris. CLD's ThoughtI'm with zaclord 🌈 here, and sad that it's leaving so soon. I think the melody of this song is beautiful, and it's a really sweet wedding song! Definitely not a radio single kinda song, but it's a solid album track!

"To a T" not being in the bottom 3 is an absolute travesty. That song is flaming garbage. The way some of y'all gas up singles just for being singles........

#8 Mississippi To Me
This was a contender for the bottom place, but climbed up its way out of the bottom 4 by receiving high rankings close to the end. Four top 3 rankings and six bottom 3 rankings made this the second most polarizing song. CLD's ThoughtHm this song is very alright, and left me with weak impression, hence my bottom ranking. Not my favorite melody. I prefer When You Think of Mississippi by Jameson Rodgers as a Mississippi song by a contemporary male artist.

#7 City Girl
I'm back from supper break, but people might be away by now. I'll keep going until top 4 though! The most polarizing song of the RD is City Girl, third song to leave from his debut EP. LBTrocks and Sambalada lost their #1, while Kris Kringle and castleoblivion26 bid farewell to their last place. Another "unlisted" music video! CLD's ThoughtThis song has a unique approach to relationships, and I quite like the lyrics. It also has a strong production, but the melody didn't really click with me. Still, very memorable song.

#6 To a T
The first single to leave is To A T, good news for ClevelandRox and .indulgecountry , bad news for me, zaclord 🌈 , Sambalada , and HeyHeyHey ! Nobody got the perfect ranking for this song to a t! CLD's ThoughtI really like this song, love the melody and the "To A T" reference is interesting to me, even though I read on the thread of To A T that its reference wasn't ClevelandRox 's cup of tea. (Yes, I went back to the thread to read some comments on this song!). Maren's back vocal is beautiful as well. .indulgecountry, No single bias here, as for my ranking btw! I actually feel like #12 rankings could be partially due to this being chosen as a single over some other songs, and having a marathon chart run. (which I totally understand, I overhate Be A Light, as it was chosen as a single over Notice, my fav Thomas Rhett's song). Also, how did this get #87 in 2019 RD? I have to fix that when you guys ever re-do that rankdown!

Wow "City Girl" was robbed. I love the songwriting on that one.
"To a T" isn't bad to me, but it's rather bland. I have no clue how he's struggled to get hits and this is the one he's been closest with before "Chasing After You".

#5 I’ll Be The Moon
The last song to miss the top 4 is I'll Be The Moon. This song was recorded by Dierks Bentley as a duet song with Maren Morris, and included in his album "Black". Things are looking better for .indulgecountry , getting rid of another low ranking, while Kanenrá:ke lost his #2, as well as a couple of #3 losses. CLD's ThoughtI may have underranked this a bit. It has a solid melody, and I really like the verse/bridge. The chorus is not bad, a bit safe. I sometimes prefer Dierks Bentley version, as it has more Maren's vocal as a duet song. At the same time, Ryan's voice is working well for this song, more than Dierks's.

I love Ryan's version of this, and moreso than Dierks' (even though his is great too). I'd love to hear him sing this with Maren fully.

Remaining Songs Love In A Bar Michigan For The Winter Her Name Was Summer Good As You Think I Am
Remaining Rankings 47 57 73 75
Interestingly, each of the three EP has one song left, while Her Name Was Summer surviving as a non-album single! Love In A Bar is the only single left. Throw your comments on the reveal so far and some predictions, and hopefully continue and finish tomorrow!

Lol, this is a hot ass mess of a rankdown. "Mississippi" and "City Girl" being out before "To a Trash" is a joke.

#4 Her Name Was Summer
Kicking off the last reveal day with the non-album/ep song, Her Name Was A Summer. This snuck into the top 4 by 1 point over I'll Be The Moon. Received four top 3 rankings and one bottom 3 ranking. This was securing the spot in the top 3, until the last two lists from ClevelandRox and Kris Kringle. CLD's ThoughtI love this one! The chorus melody is undeniably strong, and the instrumental production is solid. Would have been a great radio single.

#3 Good As You Think I Am
The last song from Panorama is leaving. Looks like many of us have placed this somewhere in the middle of their rankings, except for two #1s from tim and bboat11, and #11 from ClevelandRox. This one climbed its way throughout the submission period. CLD's ThoughtThis is not bad, the best song from Panorama EP. The production is really good, but the overall melody was not as memorable as his other materials. Still, it has a stronger melody than many songs on the radio right now. If it was released as a radio single and I had a chance to listen to this more, it might grow on me.

#2 Love In A Bar
#1 Michigan For The Winter
This is it!! Michigan for Winter is the winner of this RD beating the debut single "Love In A Bar" by 10 points. Congrats .indulgecountry and Kanenrá:ke for getting the perfect ranking for their #1! These two are the least polarizing song, with Michigan having the lowest Std Dev. CLD's ThoughtI love Michigan! It would have been an amazing radio single!! It was almost my #1. While many of Ryan Hurd's songs focus on the romantic relationships, Michigan has a unique approach to breakups, where he's spending winter days alone in cold Michigan after breakup, but still hoping his ex to change her mind and letting her know where she can find him. Love the lyrics, 10 out of 10. Love In A Bar is the debut single, and it took a few listens before getting into this song. I really like how the song explodes with the strong guitar production after 1 minute into the song. Kinda reminds me of While You're Gone by Drew Parker, in terms of how the song develops. It's very powerful, but Ryan's voice also delivers a hint of vulnerability. Very disappointed that it flopped on the radio.

OMG THE FUCKING TASTE CAME THRUUUUUUU!!!
This is one of the most pleasant surprises I've gotten out of a rankdown in quite some time. I had 0 expectation of "Michigan" winning, but I am fucking thrilled by this outcome! This is hands down the best thing I've heard from this guy. Glad we agreed this one was great, because after the way y'all gassed "To a T" up like it wasn't garbage left me w/ little to no hope.

Closing Thought: Thank you everyone for participating in this RD!! It was a great turnout for male RD to my standard!! I always love Ryan's voice and songwriting, and I frequently ask my Alexa to spin him while I'm cooking. He has so many great album tracks (or I guess EP tracks...?), like Michigan or Her Name, but still, he could not get any hit in this era. Even though Chasing After You is not my best fav (it would have been my #8 in this list), glad that he is finally having a successful radio single. Another EP RD will be coming, so that you can rank EOM or Half Hoping, but I'm expecting the announcement of a full-album soon, so that I can plan my future RD accordingly. Next up is Caylee Hammack RD, opening tomorrow! Final Result:1. Michigan For The Winter (47) 2. Love In A Bar (57) 3. Good As You Think I Am (73) 4. Her Name Was Summer (75) 5. I’ll Be The Moon (76) 6. To a T (85) 7. City Girl (88) 8. Mississippi To Me (94) 9. Diamonds Or Twine (98) 10. Panorama (103) 11. We Do Us (105) 12. Hold You Back (113)
Perfect Rankings - LBTrocks takes the crown this time! LBTrocks - 4 bboat11 - 3 tim - 2 Kanenrá:ke - 2 zaclord 🌈 - 1 maine - 1 ClevelandRox - 1 Sambalada - 1 .indulgecountry - 1 🌺CountryLineDancer - 0 castleoblivion26 - 0 HeyHeyHey - 0 Kris Kringle - 0

Thanks so much for hosting this 🌺CLD! The only EP I'ved owned was his self-titled EP, so that's probably why I catered to those songs so much. But everything (besides the atrocious To A T) was sooo good! It would've been hard for this rankdown to go wrong.

My top 5 was the top 5, just in a slightly different order, so overall I'm thrilled with how this went!!! But I'm especially thrilled by this random unexpected winner!!!! I frankly find "Love In A Bar" to be overrated, so.... I mean, it was still great enough to be my #5, but I loved my 1-4 songs a LOT more!! I had no hope for anything besides LIAB to win this, which makes the surprise that much sweeter!! And it still got to finish at #2, which is still amazing for its fans :)

Damn, "Love In A Bar" is probably my #2 favorite country song of the 2010's. Just love that song so much. It's absolute perfection.
"Michigan for the Winter" is a worthy winner though! Superb writing from Ryan on there. That one has been a huge grower for me and has turned into one of my favorites from him.
