*pretends to be shocked*
Great winner! This version of "Neon Moon" is easily the best new take from the batch. Not only is the OG one of their best songs already, but Kacey Musgraves sounds like a transcendent angel here.

I'll get it done soon, especially with only 9 songs, haha! It just hadn't reached the top of my priority list yet, with some being due sooner. But definitely count me in :)

I will try to do this today. Nine songs is so much more manageable.

Oh good. There were entirely too many songs before for me to be particularly interested in this, and half of them weren't even on Spotify making it even worse. I'll knock this out soon now with the reduction in size.

Shoot! I forgot this was due by the end of the month. I've got some juice left in the tank before I head to sleep, so I may try to knock it out right now :) I'll for sure get it to you tomorrow!

Literally the worst song they ever recorded. It's actually embarrassing that this is what they chose to end their radio career with...but at the same time it made their retirement easier to stomach. Like, if this is where your creativity had devolved to, then don't let the door hit you on the way out I can't believe this wasn't unanimous, tbh.

Still cannot believe this ever got the okay to be released by the label.

I've always loved this song so I'm disappointed to see it miss the Top 5 as I definitely think it belongs there.

Nobody wins! Lol
This is a solid song. Glad it won even if none of us thought it was the best.

I think I have heard the best offers by this duo from Reboot selections and their biggest hits, and they don't have my favorite vocals for the genre, so I was on the fence of doing this rankdown.
At least Honky Tonk Stomp is the only bad song. Others are mostly decent that are below average on grand scheme imo. Damn Drunk is partly boosted by my familiarity and a good chorus, but That's What It's All About is a nice surprise. Even though I cannot relate to the lyrics at all, the steady beat is solid for what it is, almost sounding like a Mary Chapin Carpenter cut (probably why that's someguy's #1)?

This was fun! I'd say we got the top 3 correct (as evidenced by the fact that they were my top 3, lol). "It's Getting Better All The Time" is the sort of song that Ronnie just absolutely knocks out of the park. It's not like I can even relate to it or anything, but for some reason when I saw them in concert Ronnie's performance on this one actually brought me to tears... One of the very few times that music has ever made me cry. Such a powerful moment! Plus I have so much nostalgia for the days when their second greatest hits era was current. That's why "That's What It's All About" was also a shoe-in for my top 3. This song is simple but catchy, and just plain feels pretty good to listen to these days. "He's Got You" is probably the catchiest song in this rankdown though, and has always been one of my favorites from their early-ish days. As far as the new singles from their first hits collection go, this one has always felt to me like it complements perfectly some of their all-time greats like "She Used To Be Mine". Definitely happy with this outcome, even if my 1 and 2 were switched!
