Please, tell me this is a joke.
At least, I hope Joshua and Sabrina aren't being pushed to do this as part of the publicity, because they're coming off as increasingly unlikeable with each subsequent release.
Anyway, Olivia Rodrigo will keep living rent free in their minds at the comfort of the top of the charts, and I hope she isn't too bothered by this pettiness.

There's really about to be three clapbacks all cause a girl dared to say "I know you're with someone else now, but I still love you, and I'm sad because I thought we were good."
Homegirl basically said nothing. And these two are like "you're a liar, stop getting under my skin waaaah." Pressed over literally nothing. So either these two are the pettiest of petty and Olivia did good on getting out of this relationship with Mr. Red Flags or these two are doing the most to chase the sliver of clout Olivia just gave them.
Either way, it's a bad look on both of them. They didn't have to respond, "drivers license" is literally just a typical post-relationship song that doesn't paint these two negatively in the slightest. If they really got angry over that then they're feeling guilty about something. If it's just a PR stunt, then there's no way this helps their images or careers other than a few extra curiosity streams.
That being said, "Lie Lie Lie" out of context is a low key bop and "Skin" out of context isn't bad either.

I'm hesitant to say that this is manufactured because Sabrina isn't (usually) this dumb.
She knows that this will make her come off as the bad guy and I don't think she'd take part in a PR stunt to sabotage her music career (which she's spent YEARS building up) simply to benefit Olivia.
Plus, Joshua's awful personality and apparently really s**tty behaviour definitely makes him looks like Sabrina's type considering her previous boyfriend was an ugly little racist rat.

"Lie Lie Lie" is cute tbh. A better vocalist would have done even better though, the guy's voice is really not that great.

It reminds me a good early Shawn Mendes song. But as you said, Joshua's voice is rather weak, and the lyrics come off pretty terribly as a response to "drivers license" (I know it was under production since 2019, but one cannot ignore the context of its release).

This whole circle of mess feels so manufactured by Disney it hurts, even DL to a lesser extent feels that way but everything else is on the nose. Too bad none of there songs are that great with or without context imo so its whatever and I doubt this will be any different.

This whole circle of mess feels so manufactured by Disney it hurts, Apparently none of them are signed to Disney. (Sabrina used to be on Hollywood Records but "Skin" was her first release on Island.) I genuinely don't think this is manufactured. It really feels like these two are simply trying their hardest to get one tenth of the success Olivia has achieved with "drivers license." And it's backfiring (for good reason). Can't say I'm excited to hear this song but I'll check it out when it drops.

Out March 5, a week prior the release of his self-titled EP. Also, HITS is pointing out that this will be pushed to radio.

I'll give this a fair chance, but if this is another petty diss track I may have to reconsider whether I want to be a fan of Sabrina. Even one diss track against Olivia was too many, we don't need multiple.

I think Bassett is growing more and more irrelevant by the minute and by March 5 the demand just isn't going to be there at all.

Hopefully this means they broke up. Oh geez, did not expect that. I guess that's the most likely reason. I'm certainly not sad. Hopefully her song rumored on April 23 is good (A pic from the music video where the rumor came from is below):

Oddly enough, it still shows up on Deezer with a release date of February 26th. We'll have to see what happens, I guess.

Tracklist confirmed, including an image of the back of the EP, and this is nowhere to be found.
I guess technically it could still show up on Sabrina's album but I'm guessing they decided to move on.
