âMy Best Friendâs Weddingsâ exits next which is a bit disappointing considering that it was such a strong contender to finish inside the top 5. In fact, you'd have to go all the way back to the beginning of its run to find it outside of that. This whipped up a string of support from within the top half which included nine top 5 rankings with Baby Spice being the highest as he put this in his top 2. It did have its share of detractors, albeit a small amount, with four participants placing this down in their bottom 2 including last place rankings from castleoblivion26 and Kris Kringle.

I'm going to try and have this wrapped up by this afternoon, so I hope some of y'all will be around for the grand finale! In the meantime, any predictions for how the top 5 will play out?

I love you -- one of my Pulse Survivor besties -- but I just can't get into "Julianna Calm Down" at all. It's a really random song, but when put up against a catalog as strong as theirs, its way down towards the bottom for me. I think the Top 5 was pretty predictable here. I am glad to see "Hope Its Something Good" didn't get tanked, but I am very surprised "Tights on my Boat" didn't go further. That one is really fun, and breaks up an album full of ballads really well.

How on earth March March is still alive? I thought it was an obvious choice for the last spot in the album! âMarch Marchâ was easily the highlight of the album as far as album tracks go so Iâm not surprised to see it in the top 5 and it definitely deserves that placement. Fantastic song!

"Texas Man" in the Top 5, you love to see it Don't you, though! And I don't know what ClevelandRox 's issue is with Texas men, but as a Texan I take some offense to that Anyhoots, I'm going to try and sneak in a couple of reveals while I have the chance. First two songs leaving the Top 5 are coming right up!

Stats for #5:
Bowing out first inside the top 5 is a song that actually was never a contender to finish there as it remained outside of that for the majority of its run. In fact, it was initially an early bottom 2 contender before rebounding and slowly building upon its support along the way. Ten participants lose a top 5 which includes a third #1 loss.

âEverybody Loves Youâ becomes the first casualty as we enter the top 5 and along with it bboat11 must bid adieu to his #1 song. As recordyear noted above, this was originally recorded and released by singer-songwriter Charlotte Lawrence in 2018 and is also the only song on Gaslighter not to have been written by one of the Chicks themselves. This actually never seemed like it was on track to finish in the top 5 as it initially dropped down into the bottom 2, albeit briefly. And even though it was able to rebound and jump into the top 8, it still didn't appear as though this would be able to eclipse some of the other songs ahead of it. It ever so subtly was able to sneak inside in the final moments, though! Including bboat11 's #1 ranking, this amassed a total of TEN top 5 rankings altogether including a top 2 from SHOOTER and a pair of top 3s from recordyear and toomuchboy . Nevertheless, this still managed to come in as our fifth most polarizing song as it would pick up three bottom 2 rankings of which both d3vin44 and someguy put in last place.

Stats for #4:
While the next song comes in as the most polarizing, it was in fact a top 5 contender for its entire run! It accumulated twelve top 5 rankings along the way which includes yet another #1 ranking. On the other hand, five participants lose a bottom 2 of which three were for last place.

I wanna clarify that I find this song to be incredibly poignant, it's just that with quite a few other songs that are wonderful, this doesn't quite hold up overall to the rest of the album. Agree with and love the message!!!

For what was probably the most talked about song of the album thus far, everyone can rest a little easier now knowing that "March March" bows out next! Considering that quite a few of you predicted as much, it would come as no surprise then that this was also the most polarizing song of the album. What might come as a shock to some though is that this remained inside the top 4 for the entirety of its run! That is because it found much of its support early on and would only began to see a trickle of bottom 2s come its way towards the end of its run. Included in that are three last places rankings from bboat11, born, and đșCountryLineDancer. The majority of the group would in fact place this inside their top 5 with a #1 ranking coming along from jamatthews83. It also accumulated a handful of top 2 rankings from ClevelandRox, recordyear, Devil Marlena Nylund, Kris Kringle, and LBTrocks. Suffice it to say it's a safe bet that this song exceeded everyones expectations (for better or worse lol).

Stats for #3:
While the next song started off inside the bottom 2, it would quickly rebound and once inside the top 5 it would remain there. Despite not picking up any #1 rankings, it did amass fourteen top 5s of which includes five inside the top 2. That said, it also does come in as our second most polarizing song as four participants placed this in their bottom 2 with two of those being for last place.
Best rankdown position: 3 Worst rankdown position: 11 Average: 5.85 SD Rank: 2ND HIGHEST!

Texas men...can't believe that the same state that gave us a man named Ted Cruz then turned around and gave us a man named tim and a man by the name of Conan Gray. The duality of Texas men :kii:

Wow! I 100% did not see Texas Man being so polarizing. I thought Gaslighter would be way more polarizing tbh.

As correctly predicted by quite a few, "Texas Man" leaves just inside the top 3 which also means we've lost both our second-most and most polarizing songs back to back. Given ClevelandRox's earlier comments regarding this, it should come as no surprise that he kicked things off with this starting down inside the bottom 2. It quickly found its stride though and once it found its way into the top 5 it would remain there. In fact, this pretty much was a solid top 3 contender for the better half of its run and would only vacate that position once more. A whopping fourteen participants placed this in their top 5 altogether with five of those being top 2s. Three others would join ClevelandRox down in the bottom 2 though with ladyđfan and LBTrocks put this in last place.
