which is set to be released this year, she explains how two days ago
she was in the process of sitting with her sadness, listening to Bach’s
“Komm, süßer Tod, komm selge Ruh,” when suddenly the word “tragedy”
sprung to mind. This got her thinking about Greek tragedies and the
classic three-act narrative, which got her thinking about her divorce
and also about the state of America and also about the state of the
world at large, locked down and fearful. “This last chapter of my life
and this whole last year and chapter for our country — at its most
simple form, it’s a tragedy,” she figured." |

(Kidding, I know this thread isn't about that, but I found her Christmas record such a mixed bag. Would LOVE new one of all originals in the vein of All Is Found/Glittery etc.) |

Sooooooo hype after reading that article. The lyrics to "Star-Crossed" are great and I hope we are closer to the album release than we think. Summer at the latest hopefully!!! Love the whole tragedy angle for it though. I need this now!!!

Really liked the interview, can't wait to hear this album, I love the concept and the lyrics sneak peek as well!
Also, nice to see a reference to Mama Sophia, from her song There's a Person There

 Loved this photoshoot & article, didn't expect it at all but I'm pleasantly surprised. Kacey is so pretty, and I'm very excited for the new studio album! This theme is perfect!

She mentioned Mercedes Sosa on her "The First Time" video for Rolling Stone... I wonder if that's the Latin influence she's infusing on this project. Sounds very intriguing!

Kacey isn't listed as one of the 171 likes the tweet currently has though, so maybe she unliked it? Who knows what that's supposed to mean, but we may not be getting anything as soon as we want  |
