In this game, you will sign up with one artist, you may use any of their songs during the game.
Each artist will start out with 20 LP (life points).
Before each round, you must send me a song that you will use to attack and a song you would like to defend yourself with, along with the artist you would like to attack, you may only choose one artist to attack per round, but many players can attack one artist, and whether your attack is a normal attack or a double attack. Victories and losses will be determined by a public vote (it is expected that you participate in voting if you are playing the game)

I've decided to keep the game classic for season 4; however, new twists may be introduced as the game goes on. Also: instead of waiting until the second round for the bloodbath to begin, I've decided to amp it up and go all out from the beginning:
Attacks are worth +/-5 LP and double attacks are worth +/- 10 LP to the attacker only! While defensive wins and losses will be worth +/3 LP for normal attacks and +/-6 for double attacks!
If there is a tie, nothing happens.
Ex:
I choose Shakira so I send in:
"1. Attack Song: Hips Don't Lie
2. Attack Type: DOUBLE ATTACK
3. Attack Artist: Taylor Swift
4. Defense Song: Whenever, Wherever"
After you use a song, you cannot use it until at least 3 round have passed since the last usage. (So if I used "Hips Don't Lie" and "Whenever, Wherever" in Round 1, I can't use them again until Round 5) The only case where a song can be "reused" would be if the artist wasn't attacked during a round, therefore the song wasn't used.
You will have 48 hours in between rounds to submit your songs for battle.
If your LP is at or below 0 at the end of a round, you are eliminated from the game.
No artists from the previous game are allowed to repeat this game - only new artists.
