Must be, occasionally some strange stuff is missing. The first 2 Nonpoint albums just got released on spotify like 1-2 weeks ago here.

The majority of Janet Jackson's "Discipline" album is currently georestricted.

As for songs completely missing on Spotify, Duffy's sophomore effort "Endlessly" comes to mind. Given the circumstances surrounding that era, I understand why she chooses not to acknowledge the project, but it would be nice to have it on streaming.

Nicki Minaj's mixtapes aren't available on Spotify either, and same goes for Post Malone's "August 26th" debut mixtape (featuring an interpolation/cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams").

Finally, Target-exclusive bonus tracks for Ariana Grande's "My Everything" and "Dangerous Woman" are missing too. I'm not too sure if there's an underlying issue that makes her team unable to add them, but tracks like "Cadillac Song" and "Step On Up" really deserve more exposure.

DISCLAIMER: Most of these are georestricted. From a US perspective, none of these are available. They may be available in other regions, though, such as Chemicals React, Decode, etc.

Aly & AJ - Chemicals React
All of the Into the Rush deluxe edition tracks are heavily georestricted, but the biggest of them is easily this one, which is probably their second best known track after Potential Breakup Song. There is a remix from their Insomniatic album available, though.

Auburn - La, La, La
I'm not sure how many people are clamoring for this one, but it was a minor hit several years ago and has been missing for a long time. (Strange to bring this up now since it sampled the same song Ava Max is currently getting a hit by sampling.)

Carrie Underwood - Home Sweet Home
Her cover of the Motley Crue classic is missing despite it being a hot seller upon release. Not sure if the reason it's held back is due to the original's rights holders or due to it being associated with a charity event.

Cassie - Is It You
Her bop from the Step Up soundtrack is not available even though it would likely be one of her top streamed songs.

The Cheetah Girls soundtrack
The soundtracks to the sequels are available and always have been. But for some reason the first film is sometimes there, but often not.

Colbie Caillat - Hold On
A minor hit for her that was a one off single.

Daughtry - No Surprise
A very big surprise that one of this band's biggest hits post-debut album isn't available!

Eddy Grant - Electric Love
A beloved classic from the 80s straight up missing.

Fergie - L.A.love (la la)
The remix from her second album is available, but the original solo version that was the actual single is missing.

John Cale - Hallelujah
Countless versions of Hallelijah are available, but somehow the one from Shrek isn't. (Also worthy of note that somehow it's also not on the Shrek soundtrack. The version on the soundtrack and the one in the film are different!)

JoJo - first two albums
Everyone knows this by now, but due to her old label being petty and awful, her first two albums are unavailable almost entirely. The three biggest singles are georestricted. JoJo has since snuck around this by rerecording these albums, both of which are available.

Anastasia soundtrack
WHERE IS IT?!?!?!? I was really hoping with Disney getting involved it would finally become available but goddamn it it's still missing!

Paramore - Decode
Despite no problems with the other Twilight tracks, Decode is not available and it's a damn shame.

This one bewilders me the most probably. It was there. The original solo version is there. Hell, you can even find the single this is attached to and IT SAYS IT'S PLAYABLE, but when you play it, it's just the solo version. Where has the remix gone?

Electric Avenue? If so, it's hard to believe that such a big and well-known hit is missing (especially if his other songs of the time like "I Don't Wanna Dance" and "Romancing the Stone" are there), though it gets so much recurrent airplay anyway that it doesn't matter as much if it's not on one particular platform or service.

Yeah streaming has revealed a bunch of weird ass quirks when it comes to distribution rights for so many songs/albums. "Decode" is such a strange one because none of the other Twilight soundtracks have any issues. But the first one does with half of the tracks just not being available in the US. Why? Who has the distribution rights for the first soundtrack? Why is it different? Why are six songs perfectly find to be there? I don't get it!

And "WILD" is strange too since it was released in the streaming age and was available before. Was there some weird clause in Alessia's inclusion that required the removal several months later? Why?

That was what I was leaning towards. I wonder why being associated with a charity event makes it harder to release to streaming services. Surely it wouldn't be difficult to just amend the source of the funds to include streaming revenue as well as digital sale revenue. Especially weird since there are some charity event songs from before the streaming era that are on Spotify.

The lead single from her second album isn't available. It appears to be georestricted.

Paula Deanda - Easy (Remix)
The remix with Bow Wow, which was the single version, is not available. The original album version with Lil Wayne instead is available, however. The remix appears to be georestricted.

Hilary Duff - I Can't Wait & What Dreams Are Made Of
The Disney queen's first ever release, "I Can't Wait," is not available. It appears to be georestricted. However, the entirety of both the Lizzie McGuire and The Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtracks are not present whatsoever! This means "What Dreams Are Made Of" is just gone entirely.

Kat Deluna - Am I Dreaming
The original solo version is not available. It appears to be georestricted. The remix versions are available.

Alison Gold - Chinese Food
It's significant to me, dammit! The link is there, but is grayed out with no popularity bar, so I don't think it's available anywhere. Her other releases are, though, which is strange. Easily the second biggest thing to come out of that sketchy children's music factory after Rebecca Black's "Friday."

Carmen Reece - Right Here
A forgotten minor adult contemporary/pop "hit" has a link, but is unplayable with a grayed out bar.

Travis Barker - Live Forever
The banger from the end credits of 22 Jump Street has a link, but is grayed out with no popularity bar, indicating it isn't available anywhere. The vast majority of the soundtrack is available, though!

Natasha Bedingfield - Drop Me in the Middle (Estelle version)
The Estelle version of this Unwritten track released on the US edition of the album isn't available at all. Only the original version with Bizarre. A shame, really, as Estelle kills it on this track.

Jessie J - Wild (US version)
What is it with songs entitled "Wild"? There are three versions of this track, the original version which features Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal, a solo version, and a version with Big Sean only. The Big Sean only version was the one pushed to the US market. Like Troye Sivan & Alessia Cara's "Wild," you can very easily find the link to this Big Sean only version of "Wild" and can even play it! But, for some reason, once you do, all you get it the version with Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal. Weird. The solo version is perfectly fine.

Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl (second radio edit)
Obviously "Hollaback Girl" is alive and well on Spotify in both explicit and edited versions. However, the version I always heard on the radio as well as the version that I have on CD both on my edited version of Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and Now That's What I Call Music #1s is slightly different from the music video edit/edited version on Spotify. Instead of just a terrible edit that removes the multiple "shit"s, this version replaces the "shit"s with whistles during the verses, Gwen grunting in the choruses, and monkeys in the bridge. I love this version of the song so much! It's got so much quirky character added to it that neither the explicit or music video version have. No idea why I have such trouble finding it anywhere online given it's wide availability on CD.

Christina Millian - Us Against the World
An absolute bop from Christina Millian that flew under the radar by many was once available, but hasn't been for about a year or so now. No idea why it was removed. It does NOT appear to be georestricted either.

Isle of Dreams from Spy Kids 2
Like "Us Against the World," this was available a bit ago, but has since been removed and doesn't appear to be georestricted either.

Christy Carlson Romano - Dive In
This track was inescapable if you watched Disney Channel or listened to Radio Disney when it was released. Disney tried so hard to get her to be the next Hilary Duff and it just never materialized. Also never materializing? This track on Spotify. Nowhere to be found.

Enrique Iglesias - Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)
Literally ALL LINKS to this song, no matter what it says the title is, no matter whether or not it says explicit or not, ALL PLAY THE EXPLICIT VERSION. Infuriating.

Vanessa Carlton - Pretty Baby
Well, I mean, it is there, but it's different. It's some weird remix I've never heard before. I don't know if this was a single version or what (because I personally don't remember ever hearing it on the radio during its single run). The original version isn't there, which sucks.

Hilary Duff - Cry
Similarly to "Pretty Baby," all versions of "Cry" on Spotify are the 2005 "remix" from her Most Wanted compilation. The original version from her self-titled album isn't available.

Lorde - No Better
A bonus track from Lorde's debut album, which is available on pretty much all digital retailers and I believe even on Apple Music, is nowhere to be found on Spotify.

Mavis Staples - Christmas Vacation
WHERE IS THIS BELOVED CHRISTMAS CLASSIC?!?!?!?!?!?!
