I need him to delay that album for as long as possible. Yes, the charts are weak right now but streaming right now is also poison. Even the biggest strongs are struggling to average 1M daily Spotify US streams. Anyone dropping now definitely underperform. If not in their first week, then in the weeks that follow. Dropping CLB in May/June sounds like the best idea, with summer on the horizon and the vaccines coming, Drake could realistically dominate Summer '21 like he did Summer '18 I still think that's too soon and seeing as he's dropping these 3 songs now and even confirmed that he's still working on the album and can't give an exact release date yet, I'd say the album won't be out in time for the summer. I think he should do a couple of guest appearances here and there on other people's songs for the rest of the year if he really has to have new music out, but I don't see streaming magically going back to pre-pandemic figures as soon as summer gets here. |

If not in their first week, then in the weeks that follow. they might struggle in actual totals/points, but the door is open for a big artist to get a lot of weeks at #1. Look at Morgan Wallen and "driver's license." Drake is about to get a #1 debut and some other top 10 debuts. Ariana Grande's album is still top 10 despite no huge streaming hits. A new album by a superstar would rule for awhile. |

A lyric video will do very little to give her a boost of streams. She should have waited till the week after What's Next debuts (with the hope that it drops enough in points by then) and then release the lyric video. Still wouldn't do much, but if the points between both songs are close, it could give her the edge for #1. Third video by a female artist this week that's ill-timed. Welp. |

Gotta give it to Future he has the most up to date certifications of any artist. Only 9 singles have recieved their last certification before 2020. And 4 of those are Gold & 5 are only Platinum. So i doubt they have reached the certification above, because they would have been certified oterwise.  As soon as LIG reaches the next million it is instantly re-certified. He needs to lend that intern to other artists that have't updated albums since last century even. |

The people who made the projections accounted for the streaming losses each song would experience. It's still #3 on Apple Music US. Oh, and most songs lost streams today as well, even older songs. Hold On gained like 1K streams but it's still at 715K streams so yeah. I think the projections will hold as is. The new songs are losing streams but so is every other song. If anything, maybe the new songs debut with fewer points than the intial projection suggested but Lemon Pepper Freestyle won't magically not debut in the top 10 because it's now below 1M streams on Spotify US. Even if it drops to 500K streams on Spotify US, it's still secured a spot in the top 10 next week. |

strongerq I think his label quickly realized that it was his biggest hit and took it upon themselves to certify it as soon as it crosses a units-sold mark. It also serves as bragging rights for them so it makes sense that they're being so up-to-date with it's certification updates. If only other labels did the same.

"Not My Problem" is imo, her worst song ever. SYT dropping already, wtf!! Bad callouts on Pop so it has started peaking at #9 there. |
