March 23, 199101 02 One More Try - Timmy T (1st and only week at #1) This is like the worst aging ballad in history lmao. I'm surprised it has never went viral for how bad/ridiculous it aged ala Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up".

Eh...I was going to agree with you before you brought up "Never Gonna Give You Up" as another song that aged poorly. That one is gloriously cheesy, and it's still a fun tune to this day. These two really don't deserve to be put in the same sentence.

It was the fifth biggest hit song of 1991, and for the life of me I will never understand why. It deserves all the scorn Everything I Do has gotten and then some.

I guess it helps that it doesn't get nearly as much recurrent plays than "Everything I Do" - from my experience, at least.

Hopefully I Hope goes recurrent it overstayed it's welcome in the top 10,the remix is still bad,and am still salty that The Bones couldn't peak in the top 10 idc.

And if that is indeed the case, at least it didn't chart for as long as Before He Cheats (even if it did peak higher). Also, I agree that The Bones should have cracked the top 10. It deserved to peak there instead of The Middle (a song which I think f**king sucks, don't @ me).

I remembered when I listen to all songs on GOAT List of Billboard, and when this song played, I thought I downloaded the wrong song. LOL

Not the first artist to hold the top 3 positions in the same week, however. Ariana did that the week the Thank U, Next album came out, with 7 Rings already at #1, Break up with Your Girlfriend debuting at #2, and Thank U, Next surging back to #3. The Beatles did it for several weeks in 1964 (culminating with the week they held the entire top 5). Not sure if there's instances of other artists holding the top 3? (there's many instances of artists holding the top 2).

TOTC predicting Dynamite to narrowly edge out bruno for #1 in sales. And I expect with the Grammys, army will do it again...

3 more weeks and they will most likely stop. 28k this week (TOTC were spot on).

Week 16 is in the bag. It’s a matter of whether it sells 50k or 60k. Where would 60k sales put Dynamite on the 3/27 chart?

There's no reason why they would stop buying it all of a sudden. BTS stans seem to have unlimited amount of money

Most week on Digital Songs #1:
Despacito - 17 weeks Old Town Road - 16 weeks Dynamite - 15 weeks
that is why i said 3 more weeks (unless they want to take it further).

That’s not the record that’s being shot for, though coincidentally it’ll take the same amount of time. What they’re going for is the longest Hot 100 chart run for a song by a Korean act: this week will put them at 29 weeks and the record holder is Psy’s Gangnam Style with 31 weeks.

As long as they find a way to keep marketing the song, not sure they are going to stop just because they hit some artificial stat Edit: Gangnam Style charted on digital for 32 weeks

Let’s hope 32 weeks is where the BTS mass-buying fandom stops. I shudder at the thought of them trying to keep the song in the top 25 to avoid super-recurrency and to get it on the decade-end and/or GOAT list.

Did not see Save Your Tears passing Blinding Lights coming. In fact, I thought it would never happen.
