I always have a hard time with these kinds of questions because my taste usually varies strongly from others and I have no idea what the group will think as a whole personally.

1. What would be the top/bottom 5? Top 5: Can't You Feel How That Sounds (win), Don't Call, One Step Closer, Lipstick, Just In Case Bottom 5: Hackin' Darts (last), You Ain't, El Camino, Hang Around Kind, Collide
2. Which group (US, Texas, Global, or Canada) was the strongest/weakest? Strongest: Texas Weakest: Canada
3. What was your favourite discovery, if any? My #1, although I have heard of her name before.
4. What would be the most/least polarizing song? Most polarizing: Dig, Good Ol' Girls Least polarizing: Can't You Feel How That Sounds
5. How was the list compared with the volume 1? By the virtue of having no Upchurch makes Volume 2 stronger than Volume 1 /s But yeah this is stronger than Volume 1, I am sure you will get the Pulse's pop country taste as time moves on.

Sorry I've been putting it off but I'll do it soon! I'm sorry, my life has been hectic. I had my car stolen and had to move out of the trap house I was living in this week, but I got my car back this morning safe & sound and have a new apartment. I'll do it this weekend, I promise!

#20 Marcy Grace - El Camino
Total: 156 Average: 17.33 Std Dev: 3.16 (Lowest) Team: TEX The first song to exit is from team Texas, Marcy Grace. This song received six bottom 5 rankings, including three #20s. No participant placed this in their top half of the list. This performed almost as badly as Upchurch in the first game, as he also received the average of 17.89. recordyear correctly predicted this to be in the bottom 5. This song scratched the bottom of Texas Regional Chart. CLD's Thought Granted I expected March's vocal to be polarizing, I did not expect this to be receiving so much hate. I think this song is pretty catchy, and I do like her voice, while vocal performance is questionable in some parts of the song.

#19 Jade Eagleson - Hackin' Darts
Total: 144 Average: 16 Std Dev: 4 (3rd Lowest) Team: CAN The next figure to leave is Jade Eagleson, from team Canada. This song received the bottom 6 rankings from all but tim , who placed this in the top 6. Jade Eagleson was introduced to Pulse with "Close" in 2020 CAN YE RD with solid performance (#8). However, after that song, he has not been able to impress the participants, and keeps receiving lower and lower points. We shall see if he can do better with "She Don't Know" for 2022 RD. CLD's ThoughtJade has quite unique low-tone voice, and I always find this song to be demonstrating his unique voice well, while it was not released as a radio single. The structure of the song is a little messy, and I don't love this type of production, but I included this in the list as I still like Jade's vocal performance in this tune.

#18 Bailey Zimmerman - Change
Total: 133 Average: 14.78 Std Dev: 7.05 (2nd Highest) Team: US The second most polarizing song is leaving. Bailey Zimmerman became one of the new successful figures in the mainstream scene in 2021 with Fall In Love, and the following releases were also received well among streaming services. He has been receiving polarizing reviews in Pulse, looking at the New Release RDs, including LBTrocks being a big fan while castleoblivion26 criticizing his vocal style. CLD's ThoughtI heard a couple of songs by Bailey prior to him becoming famous this year, and this was one of them. I added this song about a year ago into my playlist. I am not a big fan of the verse, but I like the energetic chorus, and I honestly prefer this song over most of his recent materials, which to me sound average.

#17 Imogen Clark - Collide
Total: 124 Average: 13.78 Std Dev: 4.55 Team: Global Surprisingly or not, a song from Global Team is exiting, resulting in the bottom 4 consisting of a song from each team. Imogen Clark is an Indie artist from Australia, and she scored several minor hits on the Hot Country Chart by TMN. CLD's Thought I was mildly surprised to see this leaving in the bottom 5. I think this song has an interesting dark mood, but her vocal is indeed not really distinctive.

#16 Ashlynne Vince - Home
Total: 116 Average: 12.89 Std Dev: 5.69 Team: CAN The last song to complete the bottom 5 is Ashlynne Vince from Canadian team. This song has a decent start, but all of the four last submissions ranked this in the bottom 5, and pulling this down to this spot. She does not have many materials released, and I discovered her randomly on a small radio station. Apparently, she was working also as a pop singer, and some pop songs charted in the Billboard Indicator Chart. It is unknown if this served as a radio single. CLD's ThoughtThis song has a nice mood, and I really like the music video filed in Banff. Ashlynne has a pleasant husky voice, and while I don't consider her a strong vocalist, I enjoyed her vocal performance in this tune for sure.

El Camino also has thin production and the "oh-oh-oh" post chorus which is quite unpleasant. Also second song titled El Camino to be last place in a rankdown. Maybe aspiring musicians should not call their song that so as to escape the last place in Pulse rankdownsThe echo on vocals in Hackin' Darts is too much. It tries too hard to sound retro. Change features the worst Bailey Zimmerman's vocals I have heard so far (still haven't listened to the EP). Again he tries too much on vocals just like MW and ZB (funny how their initials are inversions). Collide is also a bit too echo heavy, but it has a better groove that the other songs revealed so far. Ashlynne Vince has a decent voice, but the idea and song title are too generic to stand out. Also not she having less monthly listeners than number of participants of this rankdown.

Sad to see Bailey so disliked. I know he has his fans here, me being the biggest one, but it seems as times goes on posters are liking him less and less. Really sad. "Change" is an excellent song. Killer melody.

Also "Collide" deserved better.
Marcy Grace's voice is horrendous. I hated the song too, lol.
There was literally nothing to that "Hackin' Darts" song.
"Home" had a horrible vocal arrangement.

I don't really see that much surprising about these results, we have some very contrasting opinions about the songs, to be sure, but some songs got widespread hate.

Killer melody. I'm perplexed because I think his voice is excellent and he's definitely showing signs of probably being one of the biggest things in country music within a few years time.

Also wrote in the other section, but I agree that he is collection more hate than he deserves, and I was honestly not expecting him to be a polarizing figure on this board. I don't call myself as a big fan of him yet, but I think I can potentially become one, and there are a couple of songs that are already in my playlist, including, of course "Change".

#15 Clay Hollis - Here I Go Again
Total: 105 Average: 11.67 Std Dev: 5 Team: TEX The next song is leaving from team Texas. Clay Hollis sent this song to Texas Radio, and became top 10 hit on Texas Regional Chart. His name often shows up on the chart. He is rather a new act, and he used to be working under Jon Wolfe's tour team. tim lost their top 3 ranking, while LBTrocks got rid of all of their bottom 4 with this reveal. CLD's ThoughtThis song has a fantastic production, and I love the instrument throughout this song. I was expecting more from this song, but I guess it did not leave a strong impression to the participants. Other song by Clay that I like is "Strait To Jones".

#14 Aaron Goodvin - You Ain't
Total: 103 Average: 11.44 Std Dev: 4.3 Team: CAN The third song from Canadian Team is exiting. I am certain many of y'all are familiar with Aaron Goodvin by now, with him sending many songs to US small market, and he also attempted the mainstream success this year, which ended up failing. He also showed up in many of my YE RDs, but mostly performing very poorly. Considering the history of poor performance, #14 is not the worst thing for him. So Aaron just send the duet version of this song with Meghan Patrick to Canadian radio, so you may be ranking the newer version of this song next year, and it just entered the chart this week. CLD's ThoughtThis is one of my fav songs by Aaron for sure. I know his voice is polarizing, and his vocal is not particularly good here, but this song has great melody and solid production. Far better than his single "You Ain't" "You Are"(the bottom place in YE RD), whose title is the opposite of this song lol. I hope the version with Meghan would be a good hit for him.

#13 Fanny Lumsden - Dig
Total: 102 Average: 11.33 Std Dev: 7.48 (HIGHEST) Team: Global The most polarizing song is leaving here, and recordyear correctly predicted it. nathanalbright becomes the first person to lose #1 with this reveal. This song was collectively placed in the bottom 5 by the tractors, while also received three top 5 rankings. She was one of the regular names on the Australian Hot Country Chart by TMN, and she has been nominated to multiple awards in Australia. CLD's ThoughtI knew this would be polarizing, but it made me laugh to see all the regulars placing this in the bottom 5. This is a catchy fun tune, imo, but lacking some country elements for sure. Her other materials are much less poppy and indie influenced.

Clay Hollis sounds fine to me. One definitely doesn't need to have perfect pitch or something to succeed in country music, but I think it's ultimately the Texas Country flavor that elevated this.
Aaron Goodvin is not my favorite vocalist by any means, but his vocals here are OK. That said the hint of electronic drums in You Ain't is not very good.
I thought I would be the sole high rank for Dig lol. I like some of the instrument choices.

I didn't like "You Are" by Aaron but I found myself liking the melody of "You Ain't" quite a bit.
"Dig" didn't do anything for me personally, but I do understand where one might find it catchy.
