That's so unnecessary, especially since unlike Shawn Mendes or Nick Jonas, Bieber has no reason to worry for a potential underperformance - he already has two top 10 hits + one top 15 hit with longevity this era. I'm not against this new trend of deluxe editions, but please, have the decency to wait a little longer before releasing them. Ariana Grande and The Weeknd did it right. It also ensures further longevity for the album with an additional boost, so I don't see the point in wasting all your cards in one go. |

The second half of Justice is actually surprisingly good but the first half is not it. He should've shifted the Charlie Puth 80s throwback sound into full gear throughout the whole record.

no chance for lana to get close to beiber, right? She might do 50k max None of her individual tracks are doin good (they're not even charting on top1000), doesn't have a hit single going in (/ a hot100 entry), she isn't known to garner massive streaming. With the new billboard rules & lack of promo, even these nos are difficult It's possible she could actually do 100k. Her last few albums all hit 100k and the sales come from dedicated fans, as she's not very mainstream. She does well on streaming for an alternative artist also. |

"After Hours" will be celebrating its first anniversary tomorrow, so I wonder if he's planning to release some additional songs as a gift. This is a great tune, though it still has a demo sound to it.

Okay, I think I solved the mystery here. It seems like The Weeknd's account was hacked, as proven by the fishy details in the description (Antony Gergis 2020?).
Also, "Antoine" is actually "Hold Your Heart", an unreleased demo from "After Hours" which was shared by The Weeknd himself during a livestream last year.
Sadly, I don't think this means anything for the meantime, though I would love to be proven wrong.

My whole take on this Justin Bieber album is that itβs alot better than I thought but itβs just alright, it has some songs worth listening to but there are songs that deserved to be skipped.

At this rate, I'm betting up will be #1 next week as well since it has both sales and streaming advantage. Unless it starts to slow on radio (which is very possible for next week), I don't see LTDO pulling ahead as it's streams are falling faster than up's.
