Why does everyone trash Bieber in here? Iβm proud of his comeback and Justice is much much better than Changes. Iβm hoping he can get that number one this week, he probably will. As Am I is my favorite track on that album I wish they sang the chorus a 3rd time at the end itβs very very catchy.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for their official predictions for the 3/27 chart. They should focus on putting them out there first, before they start talking about the 4/3 chart.

It sure did take it's time reaching #1 on AM. Just over 36 hours, but it's great that it finally did reach #1. With a deluxe version of the album dropping on Monday, it should hold on to the #1 spot for the rest of the tracking week.

Isnt it better that it did on its 2nd day than on its first day because that implies it not only stayed stable but rose in streams? I imagine that would correlate to Spotify

I imagine that would correlate to Spotify Streams generally decline during the weekend, so not really. None of the other songs off Justin's album have seen a rise in positon so it stands to reason that Wants and Needs simply became weak enough for Peaches to surpass and with a deluxe version of Justin's album dropping on Monday, it should further boost his album so the songs make a huge recovery from the loss of streams they'll experience during the weekend.

Wow. His first #1 on Apple Music US since 2017? No wonder this is such a big deal to some people.

People wants bop-catchy songs especially in these difficult times...I prefer 'anyone' or 'hold on' more than peaches but I can understand why peaches is already more successful

So maybe not a huge drop off for Bieber because his song decreased less than drakes which allowed him to get #1. Watch it fall like 30% lmao

If Peaches goes to #1, and Justin gets at least 4-5 top 25 debuts, then Changes would automatically be taken as a setback era.
This would be the second time JB has experienced this pattern, as Journals was a complete flop sadly (and i wished the success of Changes would switch with the Success of Journals any day of the week), and then Purpose was a complete superstar era.
Even then, Justice already has all 4 of itβs current singles hit the top 30, meaning that the rollout worked i guess. Maybe another Purpose could happen with this era, just with less power.

LOL at TOTC making all-week predictions based on one day. When HDD do that, they always overestimate. They really should wait 2-3 days. I'm from TOTC and lemme explain: We didn't post any full Hot 100 predictions for the next week. All we said was that Peaches was going top 10 which should be obvious based on it being top 2 on AM & #1 on Spotify and remaining stable. Leave the inaccuracy to people like Winston and HitsDD who do anything for clout. Album predictions are based on ranges which are usually accurate. At least we include every single possible scenario depending on levels of frontloadness. smash makes those predictions and from past tweets, the final units almost always end up within the range, whether at the lower or higher bound. At least we use a huge range for units to cover 99%+ of cases and not be like a certain other predictor who said Peaches was only debuting top 40 before the first day was even over. I really don't see how you can criticize TOTC heavily for posting a range of 40k for an album projection when some other predictors who have known to be incredibly inaccurate in their predictions decided it was a good idea to post where they thought the album would land on the Hot 100 based on one day for clout.

The only Hot 100 prediction TOTC made was that Peaches was debuting top 10, which is insanely likely given that it is #1 on Spotify, #2 on AM, and incredibly stable on AM/iTunes for the second day. They didn't post anything else relating to the Hot 100 that week yet. Leave those tweets to people who just post for clout, like Winston.

The fact that it went #1 for some time today, which it couldnβt do yesterday, shows stability. Itβs not going to be a Drivers License, but it is at least way less frontloaded than most other songs first week.

Solid start for Justin on Spotify (better than I thought he'd do) but he's already losing steam on Apple Music. Maybe he'll rise back again later in the day? As at 10 hours ago on Apple Music:2. Peaches still at 2m+ on Spotify #1 debut confirmed and with the deluxe version of the album dropping on Monday, I'm expecting it to get a boost in streams. If it can maintain a 1.7-2M+ range beyond the first week, it could spend more than 1 week at #1. I'm sure Mr. Scooterman will start an aggressive push on radio ASAP.
