I love her! She nails the mid-90s Alternative sound every time. This was co-written by Matty Healy of the 1975.

LOVE. I hope this can peak inside the Top 10.
Care, other fantastic song, was criminally excluded from it, and that continues to be something Iβll never understand.

Sounds like Me & You Together Song. Coincidentally, she and The 1975 are labelmates.

Sounds like Me & You Together Song. Coincidentally, she and The 1975 are labelmates. Not only that, this was produced by Matty Healy and George Daniel from The 1975, which is why this sounds exactly like a 1975 song.

I think this is probably my favourite song from her so far, love the vibe

I can see how this musically is similar to The 1975, but her vocals make this better than Matty would have. That is certainly one of her strong points. "Care" deserved to do so much better on Alt than it did. I hope this one makes some noise too.

It's a nice little tune, and I definitely got the Matt Healy vibe, but the melo in the verses never changes throughout the song. Stays the same for the chorus and just turns into a bunch of doobeedoobeedoos. It is probably the best female sung Alt song of the year just wish it had more melodic diversity.

Not sure I like this, then again I haven't liked The 1975's recent singles either.

If her stage name wasnβt so stupid she would be more popular.

Is there any plans to send it officially for adds? AAA seems to be on board without any push so I feel like Alternative would potentially take well with this.

While driving into work today, thought I'd give it another spin. I like the vibe, but think the vocals get lost in the mix too much - so much so I can't even understand what she's saying at times.

This bedroom pop girly has an annoying stage name and a really stereotypical indie pop sound last I heard. I appreciate that on this song she seems to have borrowed from The Cranberries. Nothing else about this succeeds. It tries to be catchy by using gobbledygook chants, and it succeeds until you get to the end. Lyrically, itβs just her singing nonsense set in an apocalypse. You would think that the song was basically meaningless and contains one of the most banal uses of the apocalypse as a setting. My last day on Earth will not have this playing in the background.

Heh. I actually like the very tongue-in-cheek approach the lyrics. To me, this comes across as very intentionally silly (hence the "oh shit" after saying "I got something to say").

For those with Apple Music - tell me if Iβm wrong, but I swear they uploaded a mix that makes it easier to hear the lyrics on this song.
