I'm so excited! I've been listening to so much Garbage over the past few weeks, it's like they read my mind.
I know the album is viewed as a disappointment by many, but I was really hoping we'd get a 20th anniversary edition of Beautiful Garbage this year. Similar treatment they gave their first two albums. It's a brilliant record. And out of all of their albums, the one most in need of reevaluation IMO.

They released the video for the title-track today. The video is crud, but the song is super catchy.

This album seems to be shaping into something!! Last time around, I was only here for "Empty" but the album had a lot of filler.

I really like the video. As for the song, yes it is very catchy, even though maybe the chorus is not that strong (it is not as immediate as "stuck inside my head all this fucking time") but I really like the fact that they seem to have just done the record they needed to do, with no external pressure at all.

Mine hasn't even shipped yet and I've been way too busy this weekend to listen. I did watch the live listening session Thursday night on FB and really liked what I heard though. Can't wait to dive in more.

After spending 15 days together I can say I really love this album, the perfect balance of known sounds and new challenges...they used Her voice like a choir with so many personalities, she may not be the most perfect singer but god, she conveys so much more than a perfect useless show-off belting could ever do. Bravo garbage!!!! In a fair universe Godhead should be massive in 2021 and flipping the bird too.... The perfect ode to my favourite gesture

Yeah, this is solid. The fact that they're over 25 years in still making music this vital is a feat unto itself. There are a few songs that don't grab me melodically or hook-wise, but nothing is bad (and at the very least, those songs are still well produced and cinematic).
And it's all undeniably Garbage. Even when they make tweaks and updates, it always sounds like them and only them.

The show last night was so good. The setlist was the perfect mix of the hits, deep cuts and the new album.
Also, her mom energy was cracking me up. Multiple people brought toddlers (like WTF) to the show and she made them put earbuds in because she was concerned for their hearing. And this girl beside me passed out, like straight-up just flopped back and she stopped the show to make everything was okay.

That's a really solid collection, it captures everything from their previous compilations except for "Supervixen" and "It's All Over But The Crying." And then obviously includes quite a bit more material.
I really don't need another Garbage greatest hits, but they just HAD to put "Witness To Your Love" on there. Those tricky bastards.

They've been revisiting all of their albums on the 20th anniversary. I guess they got impatient, they're re-issuing Bleed Like Me on it's 19th anniversary (out April 5th). Random, lol. First time issued on vinyl though (in deluxe and standard), also a 2 CD version featuring remixes and b-sides. It's a shame we don't get the full Kupper mix or the Ralphi Rosario BLM remix, but nice to finally have most of this in one place.

HELL YEAH! This is the only album of theirs I don't have on vinyl, so I will definitely be preordering.
Garbage are one of my favorite bands, and I've seen them in concert three times (2019 in New Orleans, 2021 in Tampa with Alanis Morissette, and 2023 in Phoenix with Noel Gallagher). Their last album was great and "The Men Who Rule The World" is legit one of my favorite songs from them ever.

Maybe they’re releasing this now because they’re planning G8 for 2025. Fingers crossed.
