Surprised a thread hasn't been created yet.
"Talking To The Moon" is a beautiful ballad from Bruno Mars's debut album, "Doo-Wops & Hooligans". It was never intended to be a single, but following its appearance on the soundtrack of a Brazilian telenovela, it received an exclusive push there, spending several weeks at #1 on the airplay chart. And I can tell you first-hand it's become one of his signature songs among Brazilian fans, as you can see on this video from his "24K Magic World Tour", where the song wasn't part of the standard setlist and was performed due to its massive popularity there.
Additionally, the song has received an interesting revival lately thanks to TikTok - a result of singing challenges and several viral mashups, allowing it to re-enter the daily Spotify 200 and reach a peak of #94 thus far.
It's always been one of my personal favorite songs from Bruno, so I'm really glad there's a whole generation (re)discovering it and giving it the love it deserves. A true gem!

This was my introduction to him as it was featured in the movie "Think Like A Man" - I love it, and when I'm in the mood for a good cry, this is one of my go-to's.

This might be my favorite Bruno ballad of all. I don't even mind the cheesiness, that melody is to die for and I LOVE singing out to it when the song pops up on shuffle. I adore it.

It just reached a new peak of #62 on the US Spotify 04/19 update, ahead of songs like "positions", "Therefore I Am", and "Lucid Dreams".
On the Global update, it's currently at #50, with "Just The Way You Are" rising to #130, and "When I Was Your Man" re-entering at #191. β€

Not my favorite Bruno ballad, that honor goes to Too Good to Say Goodbye.
But, Bruno has not written a ballad I have not loved. For himself, or others. He's incredible at his craft.

This album has like the most hit album tracks. Count On Me, Talking to the Moon, Marry You (well, it was a single in a lot of countries but not the US). At least for a pop album it's quite remarkable.
But I remember back in the early 10's Talking To the Moon was often in the iTunes top 1000 so it's always been kind of popular compared to others.
