Not her best work, and kinda wish "Intimacy" or "God Made Me" was sent to radio. That said, I love Caroline's voice and I will defiantly root for this. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets added by Cumulus Media like her previous singles.

This is horrible, I didn't think it could get worse than making friends with all of the boys but this sounds like something you would hear at an open mic night at the Chuck-E-Cheese.

Yikes. I haven’t minded her other singles, but this is the worst song I’ve heard in some time. The fact that actual professionals think this should be played on the radio is mind boggling.

This is probably the worst song I’ve heard since "Donkey" lmao. It’s kind of painful since I adore all her previous output.

I like Caroline Jones, but this could be the worst "country" song I've ever heard. And to think that a bunch of people signed off on this and thought it would be a good choice. Hard to believe.

I echo that this is a trash song, with trash lyrics. I’m all for more females on the charts, but some songs are not meant for any type of success.

I think this song is pretty dumb and feels very low-budget, but I'm surprised at just how over-the-top some of the comments have been about this one. It's certainly not good, but I hardly think this is the worst country song of all time. "Villain" by Lily Rose or w/e her name is that's out right now is worse than this, for instance, imo, but I digress. "Chasin' Me" was a grower and I wound up liking it a fair bit by the end of its run, but everything else I've heard from her is rather underwhelming and she is definitely pretty low on the totem pole as far as newer females I'd like to see breakout.

My word, "Come In" is NOT the dumpster fire y'all are making it out to be. It's not groundbreaking, and I concede that it's not particularly overwhelming, but to say this is the worst country song of all time is a reach. You gotta stretch first! Songs like "Villian" and "90s Country" take that cake with EASE. This is certainly much better than some of Caroline's own work, particularly "All of the Boys" which is still a jam sonically.
That said, my favorite from her remains "What A View" and I wish that they'd try that one of these days. I doubt she makes a dent on the charts with "Come In" unfortunately.

I will take "Villian" any day over this song (I will never get why that song is viewed as though it's the worst thing in the world, when at least the lyrics are passable). It is the dumpster fire we are making out to be. To me it is one of the worst country songs ever. I love Caroline Jones but "Come In" has no melody, truly god awful production, terrible vocals and the lyrics are cringe inducing.

I mean I get the dislike for "Villain" but I can at least appreciate it for having decent lyrics and in the hands of a better vocalist, I could see it being a good song.

It's got a better melody than "Villian," whose melody doesn't even exist, it's got better production than "Villian" (and comparing these songs' production is like comparing Taylor Swift's vocals on the two editions of Fearless--it's just inherently better), Caroline sings Lily Rose under the table, and NO lyric from "Come In" is as cringe-inducing as some of the lyrics on "Villian."

I don't particularly enjoy this song either, but damn y'all are making it sound like she dropped the worst bro-country song you've ever heard in your life love it or hate it, this song is undoubtedly country. I actually like the fiddle! I would take this over a lot of the trendy, bro, snap-clap-, pop-leaning nonsense we are exposed to all over the radio these days. It's not something I'll be adding to my playlists, but I have heard WAY worse songs in my lifetime. "Villain" by that Lily chick is its own special kind of hell, btw, and this song sounds like a masterpiece compared to that dreck.

To add my 2 cents about this song, it is definitely my least favorite song from Caroline so far... But not because it's the worst country song of all time, by any means, lol. It's just kind of simplistic and bland. I love how it actually has country instrumentation, and her voice is still as inherently pleasant as it normally is. mus1cr0w said above that she needs songwriting help, and to me that gets directly to the essence of the issue with this song. I think there is actually a good song buried in here, but it feels under-developed and pointless right now. I love her voice, but this isn't the first time I've felt like her material would be better if it was better written. I think she's an artist who would really come to life if somebody pitched her a really good song!

When it comes to the worst Country single released to radio, definitely not this, I actually like it. To me, "Vacation", by Thomas Rhett or "Doin' Country Right" by David Fanning would be my picks for the worst singles.

Yeah, this is definitely over-hated. No, not Caroline's best work, and kinda poor single choice, compared with Intimacy or God Made Me, but at least this one is catchy and has certain country music element, such as instrumental production. And Caroline has unique beautiful voice and likeable character, which makes me want to root for her career success.
There are many songs that I would rather see on the airplay chart over this, but it is impossible to compare this with "Villain." Villain has already confirmed its last spot in my list for the Year-End Country RD.
Edit: If we are talking about the worst country single, nothing beats Fire't Up

Y’all were starting to make me feel crazy so I listened to this again, and I stand by my hate. It’s hardly the worst country song ever, but I honestly cannot think of a single released in the last few years that I disliked more. I just find everything about this absolutely dreadful. It sounds like a reject from a 2003 era DCOM.
