Country legend Tammy Wynette’s “Til I Can Make It On My Own” was a #1 hit in the 1970s and she said it’s her favorite song that she’s ever written and recorded.
Decades later, it was covered by Faith Hill on a 1998 Tammy Wynette tribute album and then by Martina McBride on her 2005 covers album, Timeless.
Whose version do you prefer?

The version you shared for Martina is actually from a 1998 Tribute album! She later rerecorded it for her Timeless album in 2005. Here's the Timeless version :)
They're very similar, lol. Just a little bigger-budget production job I think.
