All I want for christmas isn't loved, its universally hated. Universally loved song is the gummy bear song, universally loved by 6-10 year olds though.

Some might say they are overrated, but it's hard to find someone who outright hates any of these with valid reasoning.

I'm assuming that any song that won a Hot 100 Rankdown is pretty universally beloved (or at least it is in these circles).

I'll give you a pass if you hate Circles due to overplay. Other than that, I won't tolerate any Circles slander (unless it's from Leo ✔, hating Posty is his schtick).

I want to say Roar, but.... Roar is alright, but it's not a song that I'd listen to on my own time.

Since that and "Blinding Lights" have been mentioned, I'll add Harry Styles' recent twin towers of omnipresence, "Adore You" and "Watermelon Sugar". I rarely hear (and certainly won't say myself) anything critical of them except maybe overplay.

Another one that I don't like even within the context of the movie.

I'm assumign that any song that won a Hot 100 Rankdown is pretty universally beloved (or at least it is in these circles). As long as we don't consider "Don't Let Me Down" and "Radioactive" from the original rankdowns (I do really enjoy the latter, though, but I understand the criticism). Also, thanks for the amazing list, Au$tin - classics after classics! How could I have forgotten about "Mr. Brightside"?

Another one that I don't like even within the context of the movie. You may not like it, but I can see why it's still replayed so much and evidently liked. Unlike many of Eminem's songs, it's not clearly dated, controversial, or heavily reliant on a guest star or sample, and its message can be related to by many in competitions or trying situations beyond the specific rap battles of the film.

“Lean on Me” and “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers come to mind.

Seeing Leo ✔ hate Post initially triggers me until it got to the point of me respecting it.

Uptown Funk seems to be universally loved (at least during it's initial chart run) Blinding Lights seems to be another one if you ignore the overplayed complaints

Uptown Funk seems to be universally loved (at least during it's initial chart run) Hated it then and still hate it now. His Morris Day tribute act is wearing thin.
