I enjoy this one quite a bit. Quality stuff from Wolf Alice.

Just caught the Cordon performance. Like this one more than “Last Man on Earth.” Gives off a Sonic Youth or Breeders vibe.

I’m onboard with this, Last Man & pretty much everything this band has done…it was more respect than love early in their career but the love is increasing over time

This has received several adds on Billboard's AAA panel, including KCLC, KCMP, KCSN, KKXT, KUTX, KVOQ, WAPS, WDST, WERS, WFPK, plus a Music Choice add. Seems sufficient enough that this can be moved to the rock board. (though the same thing happened to Last Man on Earth) Blue Weekend is also #44 on the JBE top 50 non-commercial chart as of the last update.

This is actually pretty cool. I can't recall one song of this band sounding like the other. This one is pretty hot. it's White Stripes fierce ,and then goes into aesthetic chorus vocals. Bipolar, but enticing.

Album's out today and it's great as expected. This should be a hit on all three radio formats in a just world.

I had never actually listened to this band until this album, but based on clips, I purchased it immediately and really enjoy it. This song goes pretty hard. I think No Hard Feelings, Delicious Things, How Can I Make It OK, and Feeling Myself are my favorites, along with this one.

My favorite is actually Visions of a Life, "Sadboy" and "Beautifully Unconventional" slap.
I checked this new one out yesterday, and although I think "The Last Man on Earth" is the standout, I do love "Smile" and "How Can I Make it Ok" as well. Really hope something charts this time around for them.

This album is getting otherworldly press. Like album of the year level praise. Will be fascinating to see if many alts are moved by this, or are we in a place where most alts only consider records being actively worked by the labels. I’m told this won’t be worked until later in summer closer to their US tour. Also - will Audacy make a full on guitar song their pick of the week soon? There are definitely a few folks on the Audacy music call that pay attention to buzz records. As I say. Will be interesting to watch if anything organic happens.

I like this. The most I've enjoyed a single by them in awhile.

The mindblowing critical acclaim should influence playlisting. They've been long overdue for another alt hit, especially with the recent resurgence in the neo 90s-alt sound (think Soccer Mommy, beebadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers).
Absolutely adore this group!

When I saw Wolf Alice here, I knew I had to give them a listen because "Moaning Lisa Smile" kicked so much ass. Well this song kicks ass too.
Odd as it might sound, I think of this song as what "Back Foot" by Dinosaur Pile-Up would sound like if it was rewritten by a glam-rock band with a female lead. Am I the only one who can hear it?

Between this and Wet Leg, I wonder if the post punk revival (as in the revival of post punk itself, not post punk revival) is about to hit commercial radio as well, as they're usually relegated to non-comm AAA, WEQX and WWCD. Radio should've given Fontaines D.C. a hit though, "A Hero's Death" or "Televised Mind" specifically. I get why IDLES isn't doing much on radio though.

I have heard some songs from this Wolf Alice project that I do like, How Can I Make It Ok is especially good, but this one just doesn't do much for me.

This is having a strong add week @ alt. This track is grunge inflected. The new MGK that is world premiering on Audacy ALTs tomorrow is an homage to Nirvana grunge track. Might be a trend
