^^Yeah. It's unclear at this point. I have the idea that the next #1 in Radio Songs would be either Save Your Tears or Peaches, but the Uptown Funk! scenario is possible as well.

I think we’re seeing another 60+ weeks for The Weeknd, especially with that Ari remix coming soon. As for Bruno and Anderson, it could last anywhere between a That’s What I Like to an Uptown Funk. I really doubt the Ariana remix is going to extend this songs run on radio. This is obviously just to get extra streams so it can get a shot at #1. Radio’s reaction to these types of remixes have always been a mixed bag. They may play the Ariana remix for a couple weeks, but it’s not going to be to the point where this jumps passed “Leave The Door Open” on radio. Especially since LTDO keeps extending its lead and has way more room to grow than SYT which has already reached its peak on its main formats. |

It doesn't have I Hope's streaming numbers or its strong hook. I wasn't the biggest fan of that song but it had a certain punch to it. This new one is so flat.

I knew this was coming (we discussed it in one of the Hot 100 threads a few weeks back). For as much as I didn't want this pairing to happen, it was inevitable, they've worked together before this, and I can only hope that H.E.R. will easily outclass Chris the same way Jhene Aiko and Usher do whenever they team up with him.

Looks like "Solid" might land at the bottom of the top 10 judging from the Rolling Stone update, with "Ski" right outside the zone (if the video continues to do well).
I'm more curious about other songs from the project debuting, though. "Real" is probably locked for debut and same for "I Like", but beyond that...

Damn I totally missed PYRO going recurrent this week. Now I need to figure out what the new worst song on the chart is. Upon a few relistens I think it's one of Trackstar, Just the Way, or The Bad Ones. Think there a few worse on the charts right now: Lil Bit, Big Purr, Run It Up, Momma's House, Cry Baby, Heat Waves, AITO, and Beat Box (those three are locked for worst hits of the year). Though I definitely agree with Good Ones being hot trash, also locked for the worst list. |

I keep wondering when H.E.R. will finally release her album. 5 years and 27,000 singles later and there's still no album out. It's not like she's some sort of commercial juggernaut that's worried about scoring a top 10 smash hit or debuting with 300K+ units so one has to wonder what the hold up has been all these years.

I still support H.E.R., but she's not my #1 fave, so it is very easy for me these days to not buy or stream her songs feat. Chris Brown.
And I also mentioned this in the Kiss Me More thread, but I found disgusting that SZA is featured on a Dr. Luke song without really having to do so - these artists really should know better. (Doja is under contract, so that is understandable)
