Thank you Red , Ernesto , and BB🌕 for your lists! Currently we got 8 lists, and that is only 4 lists away from the goal of 12 lists - but more than 12 would still be cool! I'm really enjoying working on these lists. Anybody who wants an extension - please DM me! I do want it to be reasonable (no June submissions). If I dont get any requests of extensions by 5/26 and I dont have any lists I'm still expecting - I'll plan to start most likely on May 27th - May 29th.

Alright! How are we all doing? Thank you annoymous1 , emerald , Gonza'90 , and alexcuse for your lists. I am continuing to keep the submissions open until 5/29 at 12:00 pm (NOON) Eastern Time. I will be starting reveals that night at 8:00 PM ET. However, I will not make any more extensions past that time. I do promise to begin reveals that day, If you do not submit but are currently tagged, I will continue to keep you in the reveal Tags unless you say otherwise. I might make a post to "like" if you do not want to be tagged. But I implore, please do not submit without actually listening to the songs. If I see something where the songs are just slightly switched around, the list will not be accepted. Don't be afraid to put unpopular songs at the top just because it will make your closeness score low. It also seems that a lot of the rankings vary as I get sent in ranks, but the #100 has remained the same almost uniformly throughout the submission timeline. At this points, its almost certain to be the #100 song here. The current #1 has also been very consistent at being the #1 spot. Both the #1 and #100 are low SD songs. A huge surprise to me is that currently the top 2 highest SD songs are BOTH in the bottom 15, one even in the bottom 5. I will also add a questionnaire for predictions when the submissions are closed.
Oh, and I'm thinking about adding a picture with each reveal, probably something related to the 60s, even if not necessarily from 1966 itself. Hope everyone enjoys.

Yea unfortunately I don't think that I will make it. Was trying to do it but I got busy. I am not all that familiar with 60s music anyways but I will follow along. Don't have to tag me on reveals though will just manually look at it. Thanks though.

I know I've seen a few cases with a worse average (like "Hey Mister" from 2002 Alternative rankdown), but not many. And this is even with Mirago's list. I guess this song wasn't America's best. Also, the Vietnam War was awful.
This guy also killed someone and went to jail for only like 44 days.

That's what this would be equivalent to  That or the terrible Aaron Lewis song that recently came out. I actually like a lot of songs by Staind so its sad he turned out like that. I'm almost surprised this actually got a top 50. |
