What songs became hits at the right time of year for them to do so?

The obvious answer is Mariah Carey- All I Want For Christmas Is You. Another one is Katy Perry- California Girls, which is the perfect summer song and it hit #1 in the summer.

All of the ones that were hits? If it were the wrong time for them to be hits then they wouldn't have been hits, right?

DaBaby ft. Roddy Ricch - ROCKSTAR (became #1 during the Floyd protests)
The Weeknd - Blinding Lights (became #1 at the start of the pandemic, emblematic of the escapism and pre-pandemic life that most of us want back)
