The callouts are good, the streams, are stable, and this is following up one of the biggest hits of the year. Not really surprising radio has taken it this far.

I think the success of this on radio is just based off the fact that programmers are filling a slot with a song by two currently hot artists. Its a safe choice. Even if the song itself is uneventful, it fits in the shuffle with all of The Weeknd and Doja’s other songs in rotation. “Need to Know” and “Woman” are poised to have more buzz than this song.

I mean, it's not like this is flopping or anything either. #96 iTunes, #73 Spotify, #49 YouTube, #74 Apple Music, several months past release with Drake, Kanye West, and Lil Nas X albums bombs all present. Callouts are also pretty good for this (second lowest negative, and #8 in both positive and favorite, second lowest burn).
It may not be a big huge smash or anything, but it's performing well. In fact, it's one of the best performing still bulleted songs across all platforms in the top 20 on pop.

They pushed “You Right” even after “Need to Know” and “Aint s**t” we’re out performing it. Then finally “Need to Know” is the latest song they’ve been pushing, but now “Woman” is getting more streams. So are they going to continue playing catch-up and service that next? I just feel like they wasted a lot of time on “You Right” which has resulted in airplay and streaming numbers to never align accordingly. We are 3 months into the era and she’s had 3 different singles on the verge of the top 10. Hopefully “Need to Know” manages a top 10 Hot 100 peak.

Yeah, she's gonna end up with some strong RIAA certifications this era. But the peaks are gonna be all over the place because everything not called "Kiss Me More" has been timed terribly.

Is that really a big deal, though? Which is better, the song that reached #1 for a single week and fell off the chart 15 weeks later, or a song that has all the totals of a big #1 despite never reaching it?
I mean, is Britney's Toxic in a bad place now because it only peaked at #9 or is it still regarded as a classic, out performing all her #1 hits after it? What about the fact that Rihanna's Umbrella never hit #1 here on pop? Do you think it gets worse gold airplay than the song that blocked it (Summer Love by Justin Timberlake)? Is Maroon 5's One More Night the big cultural smash that Gangnam Style was? On the flipside, how's Butter doing? Do I Make You Proud?
Peaks are cool, and having high peaks with strong overall numbers are ideal, but they're not necessary to legacy. The vast majority of the time, peaks are just luck.

It's always something with RCA but I guess that only applies to Doja huh?

I feel like there timing has been fine given the circumstances. I know You Right hasn't had amazing streams, but it's still another hit she wouldn't have gotten if they pushed Need To Know as the second single. Need To Know is blasting up right now right alongside Kiss Me More and You Right, so I don't see anything wrong. They can push Woman right around when NTK is about to peak and release a video alongside it.

to be fair, it's hard to choose one song to promote when nearly the entire album is blowing up on streaming and tiktok. i feel like a new song from the album goes viral nearly every week.

#18 (+1) predictions- hot 100 I'm glad that this is showing stability here too. I wish it didn't get stuck with that #11 peak.

I still love this and I'm happy it's turned into a hit despite Doja having half of the album blow up. Wish it got a top ten peak though.

I'm not sure about the rules for how a recurrent goes recurrent, but it generally takes a couple of years for that to happen. Pretty much everything that came out before 2018 is a gold.
