well, i can see bts having 10+ weeks on top of sales again with bulk buys. overall, i'd think just a few like dynamite since both the streaming and radio should be unspectacular.
if I counted correctly, they would only need like 8 weeks topping sales to have the male record for most weeks topping digital. still 20 weeks away from taylor's overall record.

the messy autotune that they used in every song This criticism made of BTS makes absolutely no sense. Maybe you just haven't listened to much of their music or something. What songs are you referring to? Compared to other artists they use very little auto tune. Here is a short clip of Jungkook singing At My Worst (Pink Sweat$)with no mic during a livestream. I'm really hoping that Butter has some smooth vocal runs.

I'm very surprised that, not only "Up", but also "drivers license" are predicted to stay in the top 10 this week.

Good thing Leave The Door Open already hit #1 because it seems like it will spend a lot of weeks at #2 lol
Glad drivers license is still holding on while deja vu on the rise

It's f**king awful that the industry is still supporting him after all the crap he's done. Thanks for sharing this, and hopefully he won't get another hit after this. Say what you want about 6ix9ine, but at least heβs smart enough at managing and elongating his career, something that Lil Mosey is unable to do. Plus unlike Lil Pump, he isnβt a meme. He didn't sell out and perform at a Trump rally as a publicity stunt like Lil Pump (though tbh I still find them both awful).

Dynamite has been a huge streaming hit, 830 million on Spotify and counting.

"Up" has done way better then I expected, I thought it would of been very front loaded and then dropped but it's a cemented itself in the top ten for 3 months now. Very Impressive for a solo female rap song.

the messy autotune that they used in every song by this comment itβs clear that youβve probably only heard βdynamiteβ lol whoever produced the groupβs vocals on that song mustβve had a vendetta against them, but for the most part they sound fine. Listen to the tiny desk they did, they really can sing (even if Jin sounded like shit at the GRAMMYs π) Iβm excited for βbutterβ. Itβs an unexpected title w/ cool visuals so far. I wonder who worked on it? Manifesting MNEK ππ»

From all their performances this one was really not that good and I don't know who was to blame. Maybe Grammy who cut a part of it? I wish they did something like this. It's the best one.

True. The longevity isn't a criticism - simply an observation. Radio picked it up and it to the top fast, but dropped it just as quickly. And, yes, songs like BL, Circles, etc. have skewed. Didn't The Box spend 20+ weeks in Top 10? Perhaps a better metric: How does 15 weeks compare with other 8-week+ No. 1s? 31 MOOD 25 ALL ABOUT THAT BASS 25 ROCKSTAR 24 SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW 18 BURN 17 NICE FOR WHAT 16 FANTASY 16 CRAZY IN LOVE 14 THAT'S THE WAY LOVE GOES 14 DREAMLOVER 13 NIGHT FEVER 13 EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE 13 JUMP 12 THA CROSSROADS 11 TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT (GONNA BE ALRIGHT) So, everything on that list with 16 or fewer top 10 weeks is pre-streaming. "Somebody That I Used to Know" is really impressive in being the only pre-streaming song with more than 20 weeks in the top 10.

Based on the current Hot 100, we will most likely be saying goodbye to Cry Baby and Monsters this week. Starting Over is also a possibility, but right now itβs barely moving on radio.

I'm so in love with the snippet for Billie's upcoming song. Her voice is perfect for these jazzier vibes Γ la "my future", and it would be amazing if she can make this sound mainstream again.

Time will tell but it's really looking like What's Next will be the Heartless to Wants and Needs' Blinding Lights I get your point, but please, Blinding Lights is the biggest song in Hot 100 history, lol. Wants and Needs doesn't have a music video and hasn't officially been pushed on radio yet. It'll only hold so well on streaming before it starts to dip on that metric as well. If it doesn't get some sort of push in the near future, it'll start to drop hard again similar to how Chicago Freestyle did when it didn't get any further push after Dark Lake Demo Tapes dropped.

What I meant was that What's Next, the big comeback single pushed with a video and radio deal, went to number one but quickly fell out of the Top 10 and dipped in streaming since it debuted while Wants and Needs, a song released with What's Next (just like how Blinding Lights closely released with Heartless) became the fan favorite has been stable on streaming and will soon overtake the intended big comeback single. I didn't actually mean that Wants and Needs will be as successful as Blinding Lights,

Again, should we expect everything i wanted, my future and therefore i am on the album? I expect the former two to be included as bonus tracks (or be pushed towards the end of the album) and the latter as part of the regular track list. If "My Future" isn't included at all, it'll definitely be part of the Target or Japanese edition of the album.

dremolus - solarpunk Oh, of course, that's why I said I know what you mean. I mean Wants and Needs will probably stall around the 15-30 zone on the Hot 100 without some sort of extra push, either via radio or a music video. Blinding Lights got the whole shebang. It got pushed on radio and got a music video and in addition to being the fan favorite, it was able to go all the way and really outperform Heartless. That probably won't happen with Wants and Needs without an extra push. That's what I meant.

Wasnβt it revealed that Lil Pump did the Trump purely for publicity and that he didnβt actually vote for him?
