Excited about this upcoming Billie Eilish album!

Some have suggested the album title may be ironic because she's "crying" on the cover, but I looked at the cover again, then I noticed the tear under right eye. But the tear is drying up, which would show she's no longer crying, therefore showing she's happier than ever, getting out of depression... so it's probably not ironic?

But either way, we shouldn't end up actually assuming anything about what lyrical meanings could be in these upcoming songs until we actually hear the songs anyway. Speculating is still fun at least

Nobody said most support came from streaming, but it did very well in streaming. It'll probably hit that billion mark relatively soon on Spotify.

I really don't understand this hate towards Dynamite and calling it inorganic. Charts are filled with songs that are only there because of radio. This is inorganic. Old white men deciding what you listen to and pay a lot of money for it.
Dynamite still has around 2M streams daily, is close to 1billion streams but no, because actual fans also bought it in big numbers it means it's fraudulent. It's more organic that songs that used controversy to blow up. Or create some fake love triangle so stright girls would make cringy crying videos to it on tiktok.

while I do not agree that "Dynamite" was fraudulent or anything, it's important to note that just about 105M of its Spotify streams are from the United States. there is no denying that the song stayed afloat after the first couple weeks mostly thanks to strong digital sales it accumulated from its 12 versions available at various sales points. the song completely vanished from the Hot 100 recurrent chart—once the mass buying stopped, it disappeared *poof* into thin air.

again, this all goes back to the fundamental questions of "what does the Hot 100 aim to measure?" and "what should it measure?" that we always keep circling back to. until we figure that out, there's really no use in trying to convince the skeptics that it was a genuine hit or explain to the stans that it wasn't as genuine as they claim.

Hope it's another critically beloved and non-mainstream act like Tyler. 

2019's meltdown was a hilarious moment, and if the quality of this album is any similar to his previous one, I'm all for another block. 😂
