I like this! I think it's a solid effort after the relatively middle-of-the-road No.6 Collaborations Project ("Cross Me" and "Blow" are exceptions) and should have no problem becoming another big hit for him.

iTunes #1 UK #2 US 472k views Itunes is not relevant in 2021 especially when Creedence Clearwater Revival is in the Top 5. cool? as long as it's part of the Hot 100 formula, I'll post it.

I kinda like the melody, but something is definitely missing here. Not sure what exactly, I guess some more vocal layering or something cause this sounds super weird. It is very stripped-down for an electropop song, which is definitely a choice. It might also be a new trend and I just didn't notice it yet?

Why is it that VFX work in music videos stalled for the last 15 years or so? The CG crowd looks absolutely horrible in here. I know those kinda effects are costly, but at this point there have to be enough assets from movies that are ready to be re-used.

I agree with the comparision with Iglesias but also early 2000 european dance music. Remind me something specific but I don't know what. It's catchy but nothing special. There's missing something in this song to be a great hit for me.

I love it. Probably my favorite song released this year. It’s going to be on repeat for me all summer.

Wait this is actually decent, shouldn’t have judged it by how it sounds throgh a phone speaker.

Really solid song, especially after the meh songs he’s released recently. Hope it’s big but not Shape of You big where you end up hating it lol

ED! This is SOO GOOD on first listen. I can't wait to bump it in the car on the way home from work.

Not fully onboard with this, but good for Ed for trying to normalize how too many drinks lead to coke.

This isn't as good as some of his other songs but I still really enjoyed listening to this, I could actually see this song debuting at #1 on the Hot 100 for the week dated 7/10/2021 and therefore giving Ed his 3rd career number one single on the chart.

It's fine radio fodder. Generic but inoffensive, like most of his stuff. This will be huge on radio no doubt. I wouldn't skip it if it came on but wouldn't go out of my way to play it, either.

I actually like this on first listen. Good production, good lyrics, love the flow of the entire song. Adding this to my favorites.

After reading the lyrics, it’s very Can't Feel My Face, where on the surface it seems like it’s about a lover but then seems to be about drug/alcohol and has a bit deeper of a meaning. Less in your face than CFMF, but it is Ed so it makes sense.

I didn’t like Shape of You or I Don’t Care, so I have to admit that I wasn’t real excited about this before it came out. However, this is fantastic. As far as his poppier stuff goes, this is his best in that vein since Lay It All On Me. I love it.

This seems to sample Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat - so no wonder it sounds decent.

Love this. Better than anything on Divide.
Sing is still my favorite lead from him, but this would be second.

I think I like this! The instrumental kind of reminds me of a more poppy version of Kelly's I Dare You from last year (also on Atlantic).
