CIL is absolutely iconic in every respect. Umbrella is an undeniable hit, but never felt anywhere near as iconic as CIL.

"Crazy In Love" is still so fresh. Just as forceful as it was back then.
"Umbrella" is a great track and I still love it, but it's gotten a little watered down over the years.

I'm not a fan of either at this point, but if forced to choose I'd go with Umbrella. The other one gives me a headache just thinking about it.

"Crazy in Love" for sure, which is saying something because "Umbrella" is iconic and game-changing in its own right.

Both are outstanding and among their best but "Umbrella" edges it out for me, partly out of nostalgia.

Without denying its iconicness, "Crazy in Love" has never quite done *it* for me. I enjoy it and always have, but I don't love it as much as a lot of Beyoncé's other hits. I have to go with "Umbrella," which was a defining song of that year for me, and still one of my favorite Rihanna songs.

Iconic songs, but I have to choose Crazy In Love. It takes me back to Summer 2003 when I was 15 and prepping up for my first trip to the Bahamas.

Crazy in Love - by then, EVERYONE was anticipating and encouraging a Bey solo move. She slapped us all with this, delivered, and solidified her super stardom as a solo act.
Those horns were iconic fanfare.

I've never been the biggest fan of Umbrella and it's usually a skip when I play that album. Same goes for DIL actually and a majority of the album, but that changed when Beyonce allowed Jesus through the rafters when she created the Homecoming Live mix. WHEW, an anthem and a transcending experience overall.

They are both iconic. I love the feeling both songs gave/give me. Love both eras.
