Save Your Tears was in the same position. It didn't get streaming either until the video came out. pov will most likely return once that video drops

I think it's just general fatigue. Between her solo releases and all of these tacked on duets and such, Ariana has been a presence for a long time running. "pov" itself had solid streaming for awhile, too, so it's not like it's new/exciting for people. So, general fatigue of both her and the song. That isn't a criticism as I happen to love "pov," just an observation/opinion. I don't think any song from the album would have done well right now.

He's never been one for singles but I'd love to get some sort of offering this Friday. It'll definitely debut in the top 10 just off hype alone.

Not sure. Ever since 2014FHD, it’s been a crapshoot as to how successful the singles J. Cole pushes end up being. Sure, Middle Child was huge in 2019, but before that, we’d either get songs that debuted high but didn’t stick around (Deja Vu, KOD) or songs that stuck around but stayed relatively low (Wet Dreamz, No Role Modelz). So if he wants a big hit off the album, he could push it this week, or he could let virality do it for him when the album drops. Either way, we’ll have to see.

Yeah. As much as I have...opinions on J. Cole, we havent had an album bomb in a good while, even Peaches felt muted. Cole brings in big streaming numbers so it's at least gonna clean the chart and hopefully prevent a certain year-old song from forcing it's way back into the top 10.

It will be interesting how well Cole does.. His stand alone singles did next to nothing last year.
