This makes me feel hopeful. That’s a good second week number and makes me believe it has lots of room to grow.

On Billboard this is at .46. The number 60 song is at about .69. Maybe this will make the chart the next week or two.

This song is finally showing up on the iTunes country at 193. Hopefully it will keep going up as radio play goes up. The good ones is still selling so well.

I can't stop playing this one. It was my favorite when the album dropped, and a year later it's still the one I can't get out of my head. Can't wait for it to start moving up the airplay charts.

Warner has discounted this again after it fell off the iTunes chart. While I do like this song, it’s honestly sad they need to discount all of her singles to help them sell well.
I’m fine with temporary discounts, but both of Gabby’s last singles were discounted for over a year.

I'm sure with more people buying it even with it at a discounted price, it's more than worth it since sales are so abysmal these days.

I do think it's a good strategy, but it's just annoying that they do this with all of her singles. Warner doesn't put this energy into any other of their clients and I think the rest of them could benefit from it too. It's just nice to see songs be able to sell well without discounts too rather than only being big sellers because they're discounted.

I think it’s a good strategy to use for a newer artist like Gabby. I am very pleased with their promo choices to push Gabby to stardom. I wish other labels followed suit with some of their new female artists as well.

Gabby reminds me too much of Carrie. I would rather see Gabby's labelmates Ashley McBryde & Ingrid Andress get a push like this. They standout more to me than Gabby does.

Well, it’s about time this debuted. I still think this will be a slow climber especially with it not connecting as well on streaming & sales so far.

This song is in a totally differing position then the first two. The goods ones I believe got a video right after or maybe even before I hope was released to radio. Both those songs had lots of time to build mo before going to radio.

For this song to be charting at all after only a month, doesn't that make it like the second-fastest starter on the chart right now, behind only Jason and Carrie?

I actually think that coming off of two massive hits isn’t always a good thing. Because that means it’s competing for airplay with two songs that have already been smashes and radio loves. This one is doing good imo as gabby is still a new artist and radio won’t let this peak until next spring/ summer.

She’s making herself a legit contender for the CMA Female Vocalist award.

I love this strategy of 1 single per year, at this rate she probably won’t release a second album till late next year or 2023 at the most

^ tbh I hate it. Country radio is too damn slow at converting songs for artist that aren’t Luke Combs.

This one is doing good imo as gabby is still a new artist and radio won’t let this peak until next spring/ summer. Yet another similarity between the two, I know, but I instantly think of Carrie Underwood. "Don't Forget to Remember Me" had to come off a massive crossover hit (JTTW) and before a massive crossover hit (BHC), and while it still did fine on its own, it likely had to compete for airplay with those two songs as well, and is now largely forgotten in the context of the Some Hearts era. Even "Wasted" is at least instantly recognizable to most people; but for DFTRM it always takes a minute if it clicks at all. I bet Gabby's gonna have the same problem with this one down the line--it'll do fine on its own, but I have yet to hear it on my local station and still hear nothing but "I Hope" and "The Good Ones," meaning that FOTM is facing an uphill battle with those two, and will likely be forgotten by the general public years from now, unlike "I Hope" and TGO. tl;dr: "Footprints on the Moon" is likely Gabby Barrett's "Don't Forget to Remember Me"

How far along was "The Good Ones" by this point? Just curious for comparison sake, because I know it still took basically a full year for even it to blossom into a hit, even though it was connecting out of the gate even more than "Footprints" has been so far. Expecting this to eventually hit, but even if it ultimately underperforms, she's in a good spot to smash with brand new music once she finally delivers some.
