I do wish this album performed better overall, but she got a huge single out of it, a poppin' tour, a man, a great album, and more Grammy noms. I'd say the era was a success, actually. |

Agreed on the album, like, ADT really was a mainstay so strong the 2nd single really didn't get a chance to blow up forreal. So many tracks on Special that can be a single. Ugh🤞🏾🙏🏾

I’ll be honest I didn’t expect her to actually win anything last night so I was SO pleasantly surprised when she won ROTY. It’s deserved to!! Her performance last night was one of my favorites too. I’m glad this album is getting the recognition it deserves!

So happy this era is getting another push. Between Lizzo's Grammy performance and win, the music video for "Special" and the song going for adds on radio I hope the album gets a nice boost.
The SZA remix for "Special" should do really well too. I can see it getting good airplay from Urban/Rhythmic/R&B. I wonder if Lizzo and SZA will record a video for it?
Ah so excited to see the album campaign reinvigorated!

About Damn Time was a cute hit but did nothing to sell the album, which had zero longeivity relative to Cuz I Love You. |
