Admittedly, DJ Fresh is not a particularly good artist and The Power is just obnoxiously loud. It's the few songs that I would skip quickly in game.

Every rankdown has that one song that nobody really likes enough but not that hated but ends up near the bottom. This is the one for this rankdown.
Look at the trajectory graph. After I gave this song the highest rank out of all participants, it only went downhill there.
To be fair, it is dubstep with rather simple buildup and just a song played twice, but 2012 me definitely found it amazing and it's too hard to look back to these songs objectively now.

The first of the three Silent Code songs out is East Star and it is in bottom three.
I enjoy this drum and bass song for what it is. It's far from the best song of this type here but it shouldn't be the first Silent Code song out. Maybe being Youtube only hurts its chance?

I don't think anyone would be surprised Green Day being out early because their triple albums era is not well-liked anywhere.
I think it is serviceable but quite generic. It is probably chosen for the soundtrack because of the lyrics, just like quite a lot of the songs here lol

Unfortunately for tim , Unconsolable became his first top 3 loss in the rankdown, while the rest of us put it in our bottom half ranks. It's mainly due the top 3 rank that makes this escape bottom 5.
This just doesn't suit the vibe of a racing game OST imo. It is a bit lethargic, and I always found the singing of the chorus to be awkward. It is still better than whatever this group offered later like Renegades.

A remix of a The Who song is out. I still have no idea what the original sounds like, but this remix has never spiked my interest in listening to the original. It's quite a lazy remix aside from the decent drums (that is probably) from the original. That and the build doesn't lead to anything amazing.
