Based on several suggestions (more than once) that I do this, I'm following the lead of the all-genre and country 'Monthly Releases' rankdown series and announcing the inaugural New R&B Releases RD. The goal is to showcase a mix of new R&B jams from both the mainstream and independent sectors. Because I know RDs can be time-consuming (and Urban rankdowns tend to get the least support), I tried to keep the cap as close to 20 as possible (15 was the goal but June was poppin'). This means everybody's song can't be included so please spare me. I had to make some executive decisions while trying not to have any glaring omissions.
IF the turnout is successful enough to justify this becoming its own series, you can hit me up and request a song be included if you're truly passionate about it (final call remains with me though). Now come and get you some of this R&B goodness!!
