Geffen's Olivia Rodrigo will log her first consecutive week at #1 on the HITS Top 50 this week, and fourth overall week atop the chart for SOUR. Doja Cat's Planet Her (Kemosabe/RCA) will hold firm with a third straight week at #2, logging another 60k+.
Rumor has it Olivia is visiting the White House tomorrow. Do we think President Biden is more of the "drivers license" or "good 4 u" type?

Doja stuck at #2 again. Impressive nonetheless.
I hope Olivia keeps staying strong so Morgan doesn't touch #1 again. Absolutely horrifying.

RCA is looking goofy rn for not waiting a week or two to release Planet Her.

it might look kinda chart-obsessed if an artist/label was like "oh well we're going to wait to release a week because we're going to lose to tyler the creator otherwise, sorry"

Damn no top 20 debuts for Snoh or Jam & LewisβI expected the latter not to; however, I thought Snoh could gain some ground to make the top 20. I guess the less than month album announcement and no single at radio didnβt work in her favor.

Doja is having great legs! That was a good hold.
But is the physical some sort of limited release? Only 900 copies seems weird.

Site is showing it as sold out now. Makes sense. Her album has enough hype to be selling much more. Maybe even enough that it would have closed the gap between it and SOUR. Nonetheless this is a great result for her.

I'm seeing Bo Burnham having a Hamilton type of run.

^Not saying it is impossible, but one big difference is the Hamilton OST has 46 tracks, while Bo's album has 20.

Quit playing with Dojerrrrrr. Oh look, Billie is back in the Top 50, there is definitely hype for her upcoming one, regardless of the single performances.

How is Lover out charting Folklore and Evermore?

^I hadn't noticed that Lover was already above Folklore last week in the Billboard 200.

Pop Smoke should easily have two albums in the top 10 next week.

How is Lover out charting Folklore and Evermore? Fans are clearly enjoying listening to Lover over folklore and evermore.

Just seems weird because Folklore and Evermore were met with so much more love then Lover.

^ yeah, but there are also some strong standout tracks on Lover. It's also more upbeat than folklore/evermore. With it being summertime right now, I'm not surprised it's the album being played more.

Yeah, if I were to put either on now it would be Lover. Thatβs my mid-to-late summer soundtrack but as soon as fall hits, Iβm moving over to folklore.

How is Lover out charting Folklore and Evermore? Lover has more hits (Me, YNTCD, and Lover) where Folklore and Evermore only rely on one. And Lover has more songs in the album than the other two, therefore the SPS would be higher

How is Lover out charting Folklore and Evermore? Good taste. Lover is my fave of the three albums and the title track is one of her best songs ever period. And YNTCD has had impressive longevity regardless of the relatively muted/mixed reception it initially got.
