Aside from Night Scented Stock, #8 is the only song here without a top 2 rank. Despite that, it still managed to land a single point ahead of Egypt, although it's nearly 10 points away from #7. Highest rank: 3 Perfect rankings: 2 Lowest rank: 11 |

Tonight's last reveal (the top 6 are coming tomorrow) takes out a song that struggled initially, being slightly behind the three previous songs, but the three top 5s that came from the last few lists kept it well above Delius. Highest rank: 2 Perfect rankings: 1 Lowest rank: 10 |

Oh no! What's up with this?? I cannot understand how The Infant Kiss and Egypt are so low AND behind Delius!! This is one of the most shocking things I have seen in any rankdown since I joined Pulse. Unbelievable!

Like with Lionheart, the top 2 only stuck where they were for the second half of the game, although one spent every list in the top 2. They're separated by 13 points, with one having the most top 5s of the game, and the other having the most #1s. But which will win?

I mean, I like Babooshka, but it's annoying how predictable its win was. The Dreaming is one of the best albums ever made, so I hope lots of people participate!

1982's The Dreaming is our next album to rank, and is the first of Kate's fully self-produced albums. As a result, there's a wider variety of musical styles than ever before, and some of the most interesting work of her career. It's also (imo) one of her best albums, and her first truly great one.  Despite now being considered one of her best albums by many, The Dreaming was seen as an underperformance at the time, and remains her only album to not be certified Gold in the UK. It did still manage to match her debut's peak on the UK album charts, and became her first album to reach the Billboard 200, peaking at #157. The album produced five singles, although only one ("Sat In Your Lap") made the UK top 40, peaking at #11 in late 1981. The other two UK singles (the title track and "There Goes A Tenner") were still able to chart in the UK (although the latter didn't chart at the time due to the UK singles chart being a top 75 rather than 100), but much like the album as a whole, their success was seen as underwhelming after Never For Ever's hits. EASILY, her best album! And it was all downhill from here :( Let's see if I can guess the obvious favorite, I suppose most people will vote for Suspended In Gaffa as their number one, but I could be wrong, maybe they will vote for Night Of The Swallow.
