Approaching the Top 10 and I liked this song since I heard it especially because of the African influence which seems to be in these days. I gotta say, the homie Stokley has been getting consistent TOP 15 Urban AC singles (usually closer to TOP 10, She hit #1) but because of his label/team, he gets very little DSP love or attention so his streaming numbers are TRASH lol. Seems he's been regulated to that Urban AC legacy act who gets hits on the format but doesn't sell or stream singles much at all (ala Charlie Wilson) but still touring very well. At least he has his lane of success which is more than many can say.

Some parts of the beat also remind me of Mint Condition 's "Slo Woman" (especially the end of that Mint Condition track).

I bet he chooses the song with HER as the next single. HER is on fire right now and I can’t see a single with her on Urban ac not hit. This song will probably peak soon.

MY b for the double post but I'm pretty done with this song and think the highest it'll peak is 10 as it's doing dismal in all metrics. The most impactful thing of this single was the video which was cool and closing on 2 million views. Always a fan of the homie Stokley and think he kinda has the right idea with where hes headed with his music/career but accept that he's gonna be regulated to veteran R&B act whose radio success diminishes with time (with the possibility of a song connecting stronger than usual here and there giving him another #1) but stays in rotation for the older Urban AC listeners.

Happy he’s still getting r&b radio hits just wish his singles also performed well on other metrics like iTunes and Spotify but still, getting hits after how long he’s been at it is super impressive.
