If this song goes #1 in the U.S, it’ll almost have matched “Shape Of You” for the number of Global charts that this song has peaked atop, and it is still nowhere near as culturally omnipresent as the latter was. He’s the WW hits King to Rihanna’s Queen. 🙌🏿

“Bad Habits” is smashing so quietly. It definitely is benefitting from weak competition at the moment, and doesn’t feel as huge as anything off of Divide in the US, but it’s pretty clear at this point that the time off did very little to slow his success.

He really didn't take that long of a break, but it felt like he's been gone for a long time. I actually forget he dropped an album in 2019, his hits like I Don't Care are just forgettable, especially compared to Shape of You.

I was not assuming that it involved me; I was agreeing with you that the person who said that Kanye was 100% going to release an album on any particular release date was speaking far more confidently than he had any right to.  Perhaps you should be less quick to assume what others are trying to say without asking them what they mean.
