Following a tight chart battle, Kemosabe/RCA sensation Doja Cat will earn her first #1 album on the HITS Top 50. Planet Her rises to the top in its eighth week, posting 59k. Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish follow at #2 and #3, respectively. Dan + Shay, $uicideboy$ and The Killers crack the Top 10.. m.hitsdailydouble.com/sales_plus_streaming

I'm surprised Doja's team isn't routing for that number one.

I think Sour’s vinyls will push this past the other two. She’s the type of artist people want a collectors item for.

Is there a difference between the RS chart and BB200?
It would be cute if Doja snatched that #1 peak.

Planet Her is definitely my least favorite album out of these 3 but I'm rooting for Doja regardless, it's such an obviously huge album it'll feel wrong if it never hits #1

As another promising sign for Doja, her album is currently #1 at Apple Music.

That is a ROUGH total for a #1. But still far from setting a new low for a #1 in the Billboard 200. The Descendants OST has managed to hold it for just over 6 years.

Doja, Olivia and Kid Laroi holding well.
Billie is doing alright all things considered but she doesn't have that much more room to drop, especially on streaming or it might start to lag behind even the 2020 Pop Smoke and Dua Lipa albums. Let's see if the title track keeps doing well.
I hope Dua can snatch another week inside top 10. But her top 10 reign is probably close to being over unless "Love Again" really picks up.

Apparently early sales of SOUR might prevent Doja from hitting #1. Some claim almost 11k vinyls were sold early and might be counted for this week's chart.

Of course billboard is late today cause the hype is real and the fans are waiting This is why there needs to be a set day when the Hot 100/Billboard 200 reveals are done. Pretty much every other country in the world has had their charts revealed already and without incident. Only in the US do we still have to wait for Monday for the charts to be revealed, and we sometimes have problems at that (see High by the Beach, Selena Gomez/Roddy Rich, Levitating/LTDO, etc).
