Released on August 30, 2019 as the third single from Post Malone's third studio album "Hollywood's Bleeding", which initially released as a promotional single. This song went on to become a radio-savvy and record-breaking hit. "Circles" is Post Malone's fourth #1 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, but his first one with a solo credit, with the first three all having featured artists ("rockstar" with 21 Savage, "Psycho" with Ty Dolla $ign, and "Sunflower" with Swae Lee)
It also surpassed his own song "Sunflower", Maroon 5/Cardi B's "Girls Like You", and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" for the most weeks spent at the Top 10 in May 2020 before being surpassed by The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" months later and also spent 61 weeks on the entire Billboard Hot 100. The song also peaked at Top 5 in countries such as Australia, Canada, Ireland, Norway, Singapore, Denmark, UK, etc.
Absolutely phenomenal song and it has now approached G.O.A.T status in my music taste. Totally deserved to be one of Post Malone's most successful hits alongside "rockstar", "Sunflower", "Congratulations", etc. What makes this song amazing is the good lyrics, Post Malone's voice, and the infectious melody to back it up. Also giving major props to the music video as well.

i wish this didn't overshadow goodbyes, but that said, this is still a great song and definitely worthy of its success

This is one of my favorite songs of all time, and its Posty's best song because of how different it is from the rest of his discography. Listening to this song instantly takes me back to Fall 2019, along with stuff like "Good As Hell" and "Graveyard."

From that era I do prefer "Sunflower", but this is a close second. Really good. I was a little shocked at first at how Poppy it was. Radio loved that of course.

the song also reached #1 at AC radio. by doing that Post Malone became the first lead artist to top AC radio and the Rap charts though with different songs.

Culturally and statistically this could be considered the first big hit of the 2020's

Culturally and statistically this could be considered the first big hit of the 2020's If the Rock revival we've had recently sticks around, Circles (as well as Take What You Want) could come to be seen as the catalyst for Rock's revival after nearly a decade of dormancy. Rock wasn't dead, it was just in a decade long hibernation.

A classic that deserved its longetivity. It's not one of my favourites from Hollywood's Bleeding, but that's a testament to how good that album was. (2018-20 era Post was both great and inescapable; it's a shame he's fallen off compared to back then)

I got a new car last week and have not had my SiriusXM set up yet.
I've been listening to FM radio.
I heard Circles 3 times today! smh

I heard Circles 3 times today! smh Last month in my weekend at Atlantic City, the new music station (95.1 WAYV) played Someone You Loved like 4 times in less than 24 hours. Yep, FM radio needs to freshen things up. Thereโs no reason why 3-4 year-old songs like Circles and SYL need to be played several times in a day.

Whether it's the radio, restaurants, or my local grocery store, I would always hear this song wherever I'd go
