There's a very real chance that Lil Baby's first #1 hit is gonna be Girls Want Girls, we live in such a weird reality well looking at wiki his only #2 is drake's song too, so not v weird. Less weird that his first #1 is a song with Drake, more weird that said #1 is... THAT song |

Well as I said, 'hits' could be songs worth revisiting and in that case IICHLIWP and folklore have tons lol And CLB has tons that I and a bunch of people I know have been listening to since it dropped lol Your opinion isn't the only one here y'all Drake stans are the ones getting hurt at a few opinions different than your one and getting upset, it makes no sense. Drem never said anywhere that his opinion was THE one, did he? I can say CLB was full of shit, hype for nothing, Drake's worst project in years. |

Drake should also be inching even closer to passing Rihanna and reaching Top 10 on the All Time Hot 100 Artist ranking with this album bomb. He’s already got #11 secured at this point and was a matter of one more notable hit away from passing Rihanna.

y'all i'm not saying anything about Lil Baby collabing with Drake is weird I'm saying that it's weird that Lil Baby, one of the most important and popular rappers of the 20s so far, is getting his first #1 on a song where Drake says "say that you a lesbian girl me too" It’s sad that i kinda get what he’s saying (he thinks that the girl is capping and saying that she’s lesbian so Drake’s like me too because he don’t believe that she is), but it’s still terrible execution as he raps that line so casually in the same tone as the entire song so that’s why it feels so out of place. Even disregarding that line, there’s so many other songs that should’ve been the highlight of the album (Fair Trade was right there!), and Wants and Needs should’ve took the place of this mid song instead. |

Drake potentially occupying several spots in the top 10 with his album is a reflection of actual consumption from the GP and it will likely only last a week, as most album bomb do. It's the same thing that happened in 2018 when he had 7 songs in the top 10 following the release of Scorpion. The difference with Butter is that a small set of BTS fans are using funds to buy digital singles so the song can remain in the top 10, just like they've done for the last 4 months to keep it stable in the top 10. Too bad if you can't see the difference between both situations. |

I've only come to recently understand that even my least favorite Drake songs are loved by loads of people because there are some of his songs you simply won't "get" until you experience them in certain settings. I just saw a video of a crowd of people losing their minds to Way 2 Sexy at a festival. I think the song is one of the weakest songs on the album and one of his weakest collabs with Future/Young Thug but good luck telling certain people that. I felt the same way about What's Next until it got played at my gym. Since then, I've been playing it when I go jogging and sometimes when I go on long drives and in settings like that, it works. When it comes to enjoying Drake's music, even as a longtime fan of his, context really is everything. |
