In the song, it's CLEAR that it's just a playful line but some people always have to be too woke for their own good. I'm a black woman who loves a genre of music that's inherently misogynistic and most times, hateful towards women who look like me. If I got mad at every problematic line I heard in a rap song, I'd never enjoy anything.

I could see Rumors picking up from that. I remember You Right had a week of a slight dip in its earlier days, but it ended up recovering and is now top ten on radio. And it's the kind of feeling that Rumors is meant to be a hit if that makes sense, like it's the type of song radio should eat up. I do think Skate might have peaked though
