Adele is coming. Taylor Swift, queen of album sales, just announced that Red TV is coming one week earlier. Why? What would cause that? Which artist would scare away Taylor fucking Swift?
Adele. That's it. Album November 19th basically confirmed.
Single October 15th. An insider posted that here last week along with the November 19th album date. Since that last one basically just got confirmed by Taylor, I'm now convinced the single date is correct too. Never understood why everyone jumped on it coming tonight. Things were way too quiet for that to make sense.

The Feels is a really fun bop, dont really see it charting on the Hot 100 but hopefully it gets a similar run to Star on the pop charts.
Lover Like is alright. If you're a CL fan you'll probably enjoy it a lot.
Finish Line is very underwhelming to say the least. Elton John and Stevie Wonder sound good but they have shockingly little chemistry and honestly if it was just one of them, nothing much change, and the production wasn't all that good either.

Adele's single is coming on 15 october (and the album on 19 November)..I said it on Billboard Hot 100: 10/02/2021 thread days ago.. she shot the video last week ,the edit of a video usually takes 3-4 weeks..it will be ready for the 15 October release cause Adele wants to release both the song and the video the same day.. The promo line up will be huge . performances on AMAS,SNL,The Voice coming.. |

Love for Sale is great, sad if people will be sleeping on it. Her perfomance last night was also phenomenal. I got chills several times, but especially when she ended the show with "New York, New York".
But the album has some promo, they will feature on 60 Minutes on Sunday

cause it's not really 100% gaga's album and it's not 'pop'... Like A Star is Born. lol star is born is POP album with blues rock elements..songs like heal me ,shallow or why did you do that are more commercial than the jazz albums with Tony Bennett,they are more commercial than Joanne album too! |

It sucks that you need to have a sales gimmick (mass buying and/or extended iTunes discount) to compete for #1 on the Hot 100 most weeks. We need organic songs like Industry Baby and Fancy Like to be #1 more often or Billboard needs to change the Hot 100 formula to eliminate sales and add more weight to streaming. It really isn't a good look for Billboard to have huge hits like G4u and W2S spend only one week at #1 on the Hot 100. |

But still, a song at 69 cents has an advantage over a song at normal price, and these songs don’t really need it, let alone for this extended period of time. |
